    Abstract: A vehicle mirror having an image display function includes an image display device, a circularly polarized light reflection layer, and a front plate formed of glass or plastic in this order. The circularly polarized light reflection layer includes a linearly polarized light reflection plate and a 1/4 wavelength plate from a side of the image display device. The linearly polarized light reflection plate and the 1/4 wavelength plate are directly in contact with each other, or only an alignment layer is included between the linearly polarized light reflection plate and the 1/4 wavelength plate. A method for producing the vehicle mirror includes forming the 1/4 wavelength plate from a composition that is directly applied to the surface of the linearly polarized light reflection plate or that is directly applied to the surface of the alignment layer directly in contact with the linearly polarized light reflection plate.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a blue light blocking film including a selective reflection layer, in which the selective reflection layer exhibits selective reflection having a center wavelength in a wavelength range of 450 nm to 500 nm, a half-width of the selective reflection is 20 nm to 45 nm, a light transmittance of the selective reflection layer at the center wavelength is 50% or less, and a light transmittance of the selective reflection layer at any wavelength in a wavelength range of more than 500 nm and 780 nm or less is 60% or more. The blue light blocking film of the present invention has high light transmittance in a visible light range, while effectively blocking blue light, and has a reduced yellowish tint. The blue light blocking film of the present invention is used for light sources and the like, and is capable of effectively blocking blue light.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an illumination apparatus for plant cultivation, including a unit configured to change light in any wavelength region of 300 nm or higher and 600 nm or lower (wavelengths of 452 nm to 474 nm, for example) to light in the wavelength region having dominantly a right-circularly polarized light component.     Abstract: Provided are a circular polarization filter including a circularly-polarized light separating layer (preferably, a layer having a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase fixed therein or a laminate including a reflective linear polarizer and a λ/4 phase difference layer), in which the circularly-polarized light separating layer selectively transmits either right-handed circularly polarized light or left-handed circularly polarized light in a specific wavelength region, a transparent medium which is transparent with respect to light in the specific wavelength region is provided at least on one surface side of the circularly-polarized light separating layer, and the transparent medium has an inclined surface which forms an angle of 1° to 30° relative to the surface on the transparent medium side of the circularly-polarized light separating layer, and sensor system using the circular polarization filter. The circular polarization filter of the invention is capable of providing circularly polarized light with a high circular polarizance, or improving sensitivity in the sensor system using circularly polarized light.
