Abstract:
A method for handover between distributed access points (APs), where the method includes a central AP sending a first instruction to an AP 2. The first instruction includes an identifier of the wireless terminal, and the first instruction is used to instruct the AP 2 to start receiving a data frame from the wireless terminal, and forbid the AP 2 to return an acknowledgement frame to the wireless terminal. The central AP sends a handover success notification message to an AP 1 and the AP 2. The handover success notification message includes the identifier of the wireless terminal, and the handover success notification message is used to instruct the AP 1 to stop receiving the data frame from the wireless terminal, and is used to instruct the AP 2 to return the acknowledgement frame to the wireless terminal.
Abstract:
A wireless local area network (WLAN) association method and device and a central access point (AP), where the method includes receiving, by the central AP, a plurality of association requests, where the plurality of association requests are from at least two APs, and the plurality of association requests have a same basic service set identifier (BSSID), selecting, by the central AP, one association request from the plurality of association requests as a to-be-replied association request, and sending, by the central AP, a first association response to a to-be-associated AP, where the first association response is a reply to the to-be-replied association request, and the to-be-associated AP is an AP in the at least two APs that sends the to-be-replied association request. Only a to-be-associated AP provides a service for a terminal such that a possibility of conflict occurrence is reduced.
Abstract:
A method for collecting and identifying interference, which includes requesting each access point device to collect spectrum information, so as to determine interference sources of spectrum information that belongs to a same interference type and is collected by the at least two access point devices, and extracting, from the spectrum information collected by the at least two access point devices, the spectrum information that belongs to the same interference type; matching characteristic sequences of the interference sources, and calculating an overlapping characteristic match value so as to determine whether the match value is greater than a preset threshold, and if the match value is greater than the preset threshold, determining that the extracted spectrum information is from a same interference source, and if the match value is not greater than the preset threshold, determining that the extracted spectrum information is from different interference sources.
Abstract:
A method, device and system for obtaining a local domain name are provided. A Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) request from a User Equipment (UE) is received, in which the request carries an option for indicating returning a domain name of a local domain where the UE is located; and the domain name of the local domain where the UE is located is obtained according to the DHCP request, and the domain name of the local domain where the UE is located is carried in a DHCP reply message to be returned to the UE. A device and system for obtaining a local domain name are also provided.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a positioning method, device and system, which are applied to indoor WLAN positioning. A positioning server obtains location service information of APs in a set of APs to be measured; selects three APs to be measured in the set of APs to be measured according to a preset rule, and calculates a first coordinate of a terminal; if a calculated RSSI value of an unmeasured AP is not smaller than a difference between the measured RSSI value and a preset threshold, determines that signals of the unmeasured AP are not affected by reflection; and uses the first coordinate as a location coordinate of the terminal if all the three APs to be measured have been measured, thereby positioning the terminal.
Abstract:
A position relationship determining method and apparatus includes determining a position relationship between a first wireless local area network (WLAN) device and a second WLAN device based on exceeded-bandwidth wireless channel characteristic data, where the exceeded-bandwidth wireless channel characteristic data is a result obtained after combining wireless channel characteristic data corresponding to all WLAN channels in a channel set, the channel set includes at least two WLAN channels, all the WLAN channels in the channel set belong to a single WLAN frequency band, a total bandwidth occupied by all the WLAN channels in the channel set is greater than 160 megahertz and is greater than a maximum single channel bandwidth supported by the single WLAN frequency band.
Abstract:
A wireless network handover method and apparatus are provided, relating to the communications field, and capable of resolving a problem of a service packet loss during a handover of a terminal. The method includes: obtaining, by a handover device, a distance between a terminal and a current access point, to determine a change trend of the distance between the terminal and the current access point; and if the handover device determines, based on a correspondence between the change trend and a neighboring access point of the current access point, a target access point to which the terminal is to be handed over, handing over, by the handover device, the terminal from the current access point to the target access point. Embodiments of the present invention are applied to a scenario in which a terminal is handed over and roams between Wi-Fi networks on a highway.
Abstract:
Methods, devices, and systems for registering and discovering a service. An access point (AP) may receive and maintain service information registered by an associated station (STA), and serve as a proxy for a STA to discover service information in a network, and further discover a direct association service and manage direct communication between STAs, thereby meeting a user's demand of selecting a network according to a service requirement.
Abstract:
A method for a handover between distributed access points is disclosed, including receiving, by a central AP, an Ethernet frame; adding, by the central AP, a sequence number to the frame according to an address of a wireless terminal; sending, by the central AP to an AP 1, the frame to which the sequence number is added, and storing the frame to which the sequence number is added in a historical frame set of the wireless terminal; and sending, by the central AP, a frame in the historical frame set of the wireless terminal to an AP 2 when the wireless terminal is handed over from the AP 1 to the AP 2. If the wireless terminal moves fast, the central AP can send the frame in the historical frame set to the wireless terminal using the AP 2, so that a downlink packet loss is reduced.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a system for quality of service (QoS) parameter configuration in a wireless local area network (WLAN), where the method includes sending, by a network device, a default first QoS parameter set to a terminal, sending, by the network device, a QoS parameter set modification message including a second QoS parameter set to the terminal, where the second QoS parameter set is different from the first QoS parameter set, and the QoS parameter set modification message is a unicast beacon frame or an active probe response frame. In this way, the second QoS parameter set different from the first QoS parameter set is sent to the terminal using the unicast beacon frame or the active probe response frame, which ensures that the network device dynamically adjusts a QoS parameter set of the terminal on a per terminal basis, thereby improving data transmission efficiency and user experience.
