    Abstract: A power converter assembly includes a semi-conductor module, a heat sink mechanically connected to the semi-conductor module, a first busbar assembly on a first side of the heat sink, and a second busbar assembly on a second side of the heat sink opposite from the first side. The first and second busbar assemblies are electrically connected to one another. A power converter assembly includes a plurality of sets of semi-conductor modules, a common heat sink mechanically connected to each semi-conductor module, a first busbar assembly on a first side of the common heat sink, and a second busbar assembly on a second side of the common heat sink opposite from the first side. The first and second busbar assemblies are electrically connected to one another.

    Abstract: An electromechanical actuator includes a ground arm, an output arm rotatable about an axis of rotation relative to the ground arm and a position sensing arrangement to determine an angular position of the output arm relative to the ground arm. The position sensing arrangement includes a position sensor fixed at the ground arm. The position sensor is configured to sense magnetic reluctance. A sensed portion is located at the output arm proximate to the position sensor. The sensed portion includes a geometric variation in an output arm surface configured to vary a magnetic reluctance sensed at the position sensor as a function of angular position of the output arm relative to the ground arm.

    Abstract: An analog twin circuit device includes a sensing element and a signal conditioning circuit. The sensing element includes a signal input terminal configured to receive an input signal and a signal output terminal configured to output a signal. The signal conditioning circuit includes a first circuit input terminal connected to the signal input terminal and a second circuit input terminal connected to the signal output terminal such that the sensing element interacts directly with the input signal and delivers an output signal to the signal output terminal. The signal conditioning circuit physically models the sensing element.

    Abstract: A solid-state circuit breaker (SSCB) is provided. The SSCB includes an electrical circuit. The electrical circuit includes inductor electrical connections, a diode rectifier bridge that drives current, which enters the electrical circuit in first or second directions, across the inductor electrical connections in only one of the first direction or the second direction and an inductor. The inductor is electrically interposed between the inductor electrical connections. The inductor includes a permanent magnet arrangement configured to introduce flux pre-bias for maintaining the inductor in an out-of-saturation condition during a peak fault event.
