    摘要: A thermoplastic elastomer composition composed of a partially crosslinked product of a blend consisting mainly of (a) 80 to 10 parts by weight of a peroxide-crosslinkable olefinic copolymer rubber, (b) 10 to 80 parts by weight of a peroxide-crosslinkable polyolefin resin having specific properties and (c) 50 to 10 parts by weight of a peroxide-decomposable polyolefin resin, the total amount of (a)+(b)+(c) being 100 parts by weight, the crosslinked product is obtained by dynamically heat-treating said blend in the presence of (d) an organic peroxide. The thermoplastic elastomer has excellent film formability, and is useful as a waterproof sheet.

    摘要: Steel strips are electroplated with a Zn-Fe base alloy containing 10 to 30% by weight of iron in a chloride bath which contains zinc and ferrous chlorides to give a total concentration of zinc and ferrous ions of from 1.0 mol/l to the solubility limit with a weight ratio of Fe.sup.2+ /Zn.sup.2+ between 0.10 and 0.35, and chloride ions in a total concentration of at least 6.0 mol/l under electrolytic conditions: pH 1.0-6.0, current density 80-200 A/dm.sup.2, and relative flow velocity 30-200 m/min. The bath may further contain a polycarboxylic acid such as citric acid and a Zn-Fe-P alloy plating may be deposited when the bath further contains hypophosphorous acid.

    摘要: Dynamically partially cured composition comprising a peroxide-curable olefin copolymer rubber (such as EDPM) and a peroxide-decomposing olefin plastic (such as PE and PP) is improved by effecting the dynamic heat-treatment with addition of a peroxide-non-curable hydrocarbon rubber (such as PIB) and/or a mineral oil softener (process oil). The dynamic heat-treatment is preferably carried out not only in the presence of an organic peroxide but also in the presence of divinyl benzene. The elastomeric composition is thermoplastic and, with or without further blending with an olefin plastic, is processable by techniques conventionally used for thermoplastic resins. This elastomer composition and blends of the elastomer composition and olefin plastic can be used for producing foamed product in combination with decomposition type foaming agent (such as azodicarbonamide).

    摘要: This invention is concerned with a tire pressure drop audible warning-giving apparatus, which is provided in an air chamber defined by a pneumatic tire and a wheel rim assembled with the pneumatic tire so as to strike the wheel rim for emitting an alarming sound when a tire inner pressure is dropped in the air chamber below an allowable limit. The apparatus comprises in combination: a securing member secured to the wheel rim; a blow hammer provided spacedly from the securing member in the direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the wheel rim; and a connecting member made of a resilient material and having one end connected with the radially outer end of the securing member and the other end connected with the blow hammer; wherein the blow hammer has at its radially outer end a protrusion extending radially outwardly from the radially outer end of the connecting member, and at its radially inner end a blow portion.
