    摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a vibration absorber composition, which has excellent vibration-damping properties in an atmosphere having a temperature not lower than the room temperature, has excellent elasticity, and can be molded by compression molding. The vibration absorber composition is composed of a compression-moldable elastomer obtained by mixing 100 parts by weight of an isobutylene-isoprene copolymer (IIR) with 10-70 parts by weight of a block copolymer, which comprises a block of a styrene monomer and a vinyl-polyisoprene block and which has a main dispersion peak of tan δ at −40° C. or higher, and crosslinking the mixture; when the rubber elastomer has a peak temperature for the main dispersion X of tan δ at 100 Hz from 0 to +60° C., a peak value is 0.4 or greater, and the value of tan δ of the rubber elastomer is greater than the value of tan δ at 100 Hz of the IIR for the main dispersion Y of tan δ thereof at 100 Hz in a temperature region not lower than the peak temperature.

    摘要： A grommet which is formed from a self-lubricating rubber, and can be fixed by means of a wire such as electric wires and an adhesive tape. The rubber grommet (10) is fixed to the electric wire (14) with the adhesive tapes (12, 12) and inserted into a through hole (22) penetrating through a partition (20) to provide sealing between the electric wire (14) and an inner wall of the through hole (22). Rubber forming the grommet (10) is a self-lubricating rubber containing an oily polyalkyl carbonate, which is represented by the following chemical formula: Ri—O—CO—O—[CH2CH2C(CH3)HCH2CH2—O—CO —O]n—Ri wherein n is an integer of 1 to 8, and Ri represents (i—C7H15).

    摘要： Molded articles of thermoplastic elastomer obtained in accordance with the present invention comprise a molded product prepared from a thermoplastic elastomer containing a partially cross-linked product of ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber and a polyolefin resin, a primer layer containing at least one compound selected from the group of saturated polyesters and chlorinated polyolefins and formed on the surface of said molded article, and a topcoat layer containing at least one compound selected from the group of saturated polyesters, acrylic ester resins, polyvinyl chloride and polyisocyanate (provided that the topcoat layer contains at least the acrylic ester resin when the primer layer consists only of the saturated polyester) and formed on said primer layer. The molded articles of the invention mentioned above have such excellent surface characteristics that the surface thereof is hard to get a scratch, excellent in appearance as well as in touch and, moreover, is hard to subject to attack by hydrocarbon solvents.

    摘要： A laminate comprising (a) a layer of a partially crosslinked graft-modified polyolefin elastomer formed by dynamically heat-treating a mixture of a peroxide-crosslinking olefin copolymer rubber and an olefinic plastic with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof, an unsaturated epoxy monomer or an unsaturated hydroxy monomer in the presence of an organic peroxide and (b) a layer of a polyamide, polyurethane or polyester is excellent in weatherability, heat resistance and dimension stability, and this laminate is effectively molded into an interior part or sealing material of an automobile, especially a glass run channel. The glass run channel molded from this laminate is excellent in the durability, the tightness of contact with glass at the time of closing and the sliding smoothness at the opening-closing operation.

    摘要： In the case where a polyamide is blended with a specific partially crosslinked graft-modified polyolefin elastomer obtained by dynamically heat-treating a blend of a peroxide-crosslinking olefin copolymer rubber and an olefinic plastic with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof, an unsaturated epoxy monomer or an unsaturated hydroxy monomer in the presence of an organic peroxide, if the graft-modified polyolefin plastomer occupies a major portion, a composition excellent in the oil resistance, the mechanical strength and the resistance against heat aging is obtained and if the polyamide occupies a major portion, a composition excellent in the impact resistance, the rigidity and the tensile strength is obtained.
