    摘要： An image processing apparatus for performing at least one of JPEG 2000 encoding and decoding processes, including: a JPEG 2000 hardware encoder-decoder including a memory that performs wavelet transform and inverse transform of image information up to a specific tile size using only hardware components; an acquirer for acquiring a tile size information of image data to be encoded or decoded; a determiner for determining whether the acquired tile size can be processed using only said JPEG 2000 hardware encoder-decoder or not; a selector for selecting one of a first and second process based on result of a decision by said determiner, the first process being wavelet transform and inverse transform process performed using only components constituting said JPEG 2000 hardware encoder-decoder and the second process being wavelet transform and inverse transform process performed using components other than components constituting said JPEG 2000 hardware encoder-decoder.

    摘要： A box data management apparatus extracts box data from a plurality of devices, connected to a network, to enable display of a list of the box data. An operational parameter collection part in the box data management apparatus collects operational parameters as information for processing the box data in the devices. A box data processing part in the box data management apparatus extracts and displays a device and an operational parameter which are capable of processing each of the box data based upon the operational parameters. Therefore, after display of the box data in a list without division by the devices, operational parameters capable of processing selected box data are displayed, thereby enabling improvement in operability and convenience for the user.

The information processing apparatus, which stores information including the position of equipment, detects the equipment included in the shot image by the portable terminal, based on the position and orientation of the portable terminal and the position of the equipment, and transmits information about the equipment to the portable terminal. The portable terminal obtains an operation history on an image processing apparatus in the equipment based on the received information, and displays an operation screen presenting the operation history in a selectable manner on a display unit. Then, when a selection of operation history is accepted, a control signal for allowing the image processing apparatus to execute image processing indicated by the operation history is transmitted to the image processing apparatus.

    摘要： A data communication system, an image processing apparatus, a program and a data communication method which permit a user to command a reply multicast transmission in reply to a multicast transmission with easy operations. In executing a multicast transmission of first image data, the image processing apparatus sends a job ID together with the first image data to a computer which is one of the receivers of the multicast transmission. Concurrently, the image processing apparatus stores the job ID and the receivers of the multicast transmission in relative to each other as history information. When the computer replies to the multicast transmission, the computer sends a reply e-mail including second image data and the job ID to the image processing apparatus. Then, the image processing apparatus extracts the job ID from the reply e-mail and searches the history information for receivers of the multicast transmission identified by the job ID. Thereafter, in accordance with the searched receivers, the image processing apparatus designates receivers of a reply multicast transmission and sends the second image data to the designated receivers.
