    摘要: A transmission monitoring and controlling apparatus is provided between a first system and a second system. The transmission monitoring and controlling apparatus monitors information transmitted through a Fibre Channel. Then, a back controller analyzes the monitored information and stores the information in a controlling memory based on the analysis. For example, when the first system writes data on the second system, the back controller stores the data in the controlling memory. Therefore, even if a failure has occurred in the second system, the transmission monitoring and controlling apparatus is able to read the data from the controlling memory and send the data to the first system instead of to the second system.

    摘要: A rodless cylinder with a position detector and a brake has a sliding table which is slidably retained on a cylinder tube. A moving member (piston yoke) of the rodless cylinder is secured to the sliding table. A brake unit part is connected to one side of the sliding table, and a sensor part is connected to the other side of the sliding table. A brake plate is disposed to extend through the brake unit part. Both ends of the brake plate are connected to a first and second head covers, respectively, which are provided at both ends of the cylinder tube. A first and second brake shoes are disposed to sandwich the brake plate therebetween. The first brake shoe is subjected to brake spring force. A passage for supplying a pressure fluid is communicated with the other side of the sliding table. Thus, the brake is actuated by allowing the brake spring force, together with a fluid pressure if necessary, to act on the first brake shoe, and the brake is released by the action of a fluid pressure.

    摘要: In a rodless cylinder, a moving member which is moved along a cylinder body is reduced in height for the sake of compactness and stability. A stopper is mounted on a stopper support base, which is also reduced in height to preclude the possibilities of obstructing movement of the moving member, and includes a stopper lock mechanism with an adjusting screw suitable for use with the stopper support base of low height. More specifically, in a rodless cylinder having a stopper support base mounted on top of a cylinder body, the stopper support base is provided with inclined surfaces at the opposite ends thereof symmetrically in face to face relation with downwardly-facing inclined surfaces formed on opposite lateral side portions of the cylinder body, and firmly fastened to the cylinder body by setting bolts and clamp members having inclined surfaces face to face with the inclined surfaces. The stopper is threaded into the stopper support base on the cylinder body and is locked in position by threading the stopper into a lock plate and fastening the lock plate to the stopper support base by bolts.

    摘要: A direct memory access apparatus includes a CPU, and data of one byte or more to be transferred is stored in a working RAM of the CPU or an external storage unit. The external storage unit includes a memory cartridge or a CD-ROM, and stores parameter data including the number of data to be transferred, and a first address and second address for direct memory access. Prior to a start of the direct memory access, the parameter data is read and, when a horizontal blanking signal is generated from a counter included in a video processor, the data is read from the working RAM or the external storage unit in accordance with the first address value and the data is transferred to an internal memory of the video processor in accordance with the second address value.

    摘要: An improved overhead valve internal combustion engine is disclosed in which an intake port defined in a cyclinder head for communication at its outlet side opening with a combustion chamber opens at its inlet end in a first side of the cylinder head for connection to a carburetor. An exhaust port also formed in the cylinder head for communication at its inlet side opening with the combustion chamber opens at its outlet end in a second side of the cylinder head that extends substantially perpendicular with the plane of the first side for connection through an exhaust duct to a muffler that is located on the opposite side of the cylinder head to the carburetor. This arrangement can enhance cooling of the cylinder and cylinder heads of an engine and miniturize engine overall size, without shortening the length of the exhaust duct connected between a muffler and exhaust port.
