Abstract: In one embodiment, a sensing apparatus having a first region with light transmittance less than a second region is provided. The sensing apparatus includes a first conductive layer, a color filter layer and a second conductive layer disposed on a substrate. The first conductive layer is located in the first region and includes first electrode patterns. The color filter layer covers the first conductive layer. The second conductive layer is disposed on the color filter layer and includes second electrode patterns. At least one of the second electrode patterns has a connection portion passing through the color filter layer to electrically connect to one of the first electrode patterns. The first electrode patterns and the second electrode patterns form first electrode series and second electrode series intersecting with the first electrode series. The connection portion is located at the intersection of one first electrode series and one second electrode series.

Abstract: An ambient light adjustment (ALA) apparatus, a method and a system therewith are proposed. The ALA apparatus includes a main body having a plurality of edges, one or more light sources, a light blocking layer and a controller. The light source is mounted on at least one edge of the ALA apparatus. The main body comprises at least one light guide plate. The light blocking layer is disposed over a surface of the main body. The controller is coupled to the light source and the light blocking layer. The ALA apparatus further comprises at least one sensor coupled to the controller. Abstract: A fingerprint recognition method is provided. The method includes obtaining a plurality of fingerprint images by sensing a finger of a user, respectively calculating geometric center points corresponding to the fingerprint images, and calculating positions and offsets of the fingerprint images according to the geometric center points. The method also includes filling signals in the fingerprint images into a part of pixels in a pixel array according to the positions and the offsets of the fingerprint images, and obtaining signals of other pixels in the pixel array by inputting the signals filled in the part of pixels in the pixel array into an artificial intelligence engine. The method further includes generating a candidate fingerprint image and recognizing a user based on the candidate fingerprint image.

Abstract: A transparent display device and a control method using the same are provided. The transparent display device includes a transparent display, a plurality of identification sensors, a scene sensor, and a controller. The identification sensors are configured to sense a user located at a first side of the transparent display to generate a plurality of identification data. The scene sensor is configured to sense scene information located at a second side. The controller obtains a user distance between the user and the transparent display, selects corresponding identification data generated by at least one of or multiple of the identification sensors according to the user distance, determines a location and a gaze direction of the user and a target object in the scene information according to the selected corresponding identification data, and presents target object information corresponding to the target object in the transparent display.

Abstract: A stretchable sensing device includes at least one first unit structure, at least one second unit structure and a stretchable material layer. The first unit structure includes a first substrate and a first sensing element layer, wherein the first substrate includes multiple first slits and multiple first distribution regions defined by the first slits. The first sensing element layer includes multiple first sensing electrodes being electrically isolated to each other and located on the first substrate. The second unit structure is located on the first unit structure and includes a second substrate and a second sensing element layer located on the second substrate. The stretchable material layer is located between the first unit structure and the second unit structure, and provides a changeable spacing between at least two of the first sensing electrodes located on adjacent first distribution regions. A sensing method of the stretchable sensing device is also provided.
