摘要: Provided is a speech coding apparatus and method. A band divider divides an input signal into a high-band signal and a low-band signal, a narrowband encoder encodes the low-band signal using a Code Excited Linear Prediction (CELP)-based narrowband speech codec, a frequency characteristic collector converts the high-band signal to a signal in a frequency domain and obtains Modified Discrete Cosine Transform (MDCT) coefficients, a subband determiner determines subbands in a final stage based on the MDCT coefficients and determines subbands for quantization based on the subbands in a final stage, a gain quantizer performs gain quantization of the subbands, a bit assignment unit assigns bits to the subbands according to the magnitude of the gain quantization, and a shape quantizer performs shape quantization of the subbands in an algebraic method. Accordingly, algorithm consistency can be maintained and a complexity can be reduced by extending a bandwidth with a small number of bits in a speech codec.

摘要: A flow rate sensor includes a collision sensing plate and a variable resistance unit. The collision sensing plate is positioned in a flow path of the fluid and is bent with a different degree depending on a flow rate of the fluid. The variable resistance unit is connected to the collision sensing plate, and varies resistance depending on the degree of the bend of the collision sensing plate. A fuel cell system with the flow rate sensor is capable of measuring the flow rate of fluid such as fuel with an inexpensive cost and in a manner of not substantially interrupting the flow of the fluid.

摘要: An interleaving apparatus and method for an OFDM transmitter are provided. The interleaving apparatus comprises a memory unit, a memory write/read control unit, a memory access address generation unit, and a second permutation and output selection unit. The memory unit includes a plurality of memory banks, which are capable of being independently controlled so that data can be written or read in/from the memory banks, each having memory cells arranged in an N×M matrix structure. The memory write/read control unit generates control signals to write/read data in/from the memory unit. The memory access address generation unit generates a memory access address used to write/read data in/from the memory unit in response to the memory write/read control signals. The second permutation and output selection unit rearranges the positions of data bits output from the memory unit and outputs the position-rearranged data bits.
