摘要： A guide wire having a flexible distal end portion, uniform outer diameter and no stepped difference in the external surface is provided. The guide wire comprises a core wire 1 having a core body portion 11 having a relatively large cross sectional area of wire and a distal end portion 12 provided at a distal end 111 of the core body portion 11 and having a relatively small cross sectional area of wire, and a resin layer 2 coated on the core wire 1. At least the distal end portion 12 comprises a sparse bundle of a plurality of slender wire filaments 121, and substantially no stepped difference is present between the distal end portion 12 and the core body portion 11. The core body portion 11 is a slender wire filament having a section formed in a circular shape or a bundle of slender wire filaments whose number is more than that of the distal end portion and when used for inserting a catheter for PTCA, the diameter (average) of the core body portion 11 is generally about 0.05 mm to 0.10 mm.

The pushing means 4 includes a cylindrical member inserted slidably into the inner wall of the casing 1, and a spring member housed in the cylindrical member. The cylindrical member and the port position 2 are respectively provided with a male hook 425 and a female hook 25, for acting as detachable mutual engagement means.

An amount of liquid drug remaining in the bladder can be greatly reduced, since a clearance between the inner shaft and outer shaft can be made very small.

摘要： An indwelling catheter comprises a tube, a female connector and an elastically deformable hemostasis valve which can be pressed by a male connector. An opening taper portion tapered forwardly is formed in a longitudinal intermediate portion of an inner circumferential surface of the female connector. The elastically deformable hemostasis valve is provided longitudinally slidably in the opening taper portion of the female connector and an inside portion extending rearwardly from the opening taper portion. The hemostasis valve includes; a body having a hollow form opened at its front and rear ends or a tubular portion fitted over the connecting portion from a rearward direction; and an openable/closable portion being opened by elastic deformation of the body or the tubular portion.

摘要： The medical tube inserted into a body cavity of a patient includes a flexible tube and a magnet provided at the tip end portion of the tube for electromagnetically detecting the position of the tip end portion of the tube inserted in the body cavity, from outside the body. This magnet includes a plurality of magnet pieces arranged in the length direction of the tube to have a column-like shape as a whole. The direction of magnetic pole of the magnet is set to the length direction of the tube. Therefore, since the magnet is divided into a plurality of magnet pieces, even a magnet increased in size can be inserted smoothly into a body cavity of a patient.
