摘要: A light-and pressure-sensitive recording sheet and an original, overlapping each other, are introduced into an image forming apparatus, and are exposed to radiation on a transparent drum by means of a light source in the drum, whereupon a latent image, based on the contents of the original, is formed on the recording sheet. Then, the recording sheet is separated from the original by means of a separator, and is passed between a pair of pressure rolls. When the recording sheet is exposed, microcapsules thereon change their hardness. These microcapsules are ruptured selectively by pressure applied to the sheet. As a result, a chromogenic material, contained in the microcapsules, and a developer material, on the surface of a substrate of the recording sheet, react with each other, so that the sheet surface changes its color. Thus, the latent image is developed to accomplish copying in accordance with the original.

摘要: In response to light reflected by a manuscript, a latent photo-image corresponding to the manuscript is formed on a photosensitive member comprising photocurable microcapsules containing therein dye precursor reactable to a color developing agent to develop a visible image. The photosensitive member is conveyed from a supply source, via a light exposure platform, to a developing section in an imaging device, while effectively protected from ambient light. When a transfer member is used to pass through the developing section, together with the photosensitive member, a separator lug is provided for separating the transfer member from the photosensitive member immediately after passing through the developing section. The exposure platform has a surface of an excellent light-absorptive material to prevent the recording sheet from being exposed again to light reflected from the platform surface.

Herewith, by using communication network, it provides a system of applying layout to data sent from a communication terminal, converting it, and then returning it.

摘要: A peeling sheet on the back of a cover sheet is provided with a cover seal having a printed front surface is peeled off to partially expose an adhesive layer. A core material for cover is placed thereon. First side piece portion and second side piece portion are then peeled off and the entire surface of the first cover members, backbone member and second cover member of the core material for cover is bonded and fixed by the adhesive layer of the cover sheet for cover. Outer circumferential region of the cover seal for cover is then bent to the inside thus making a cover of a booklet. When a personal user edits electronic images and prints the electronic images on a printed sheet, the printed sheet can be fixed easily in a short time for making a booklet.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes a feed cassette detachably loaded in a main body of the printing apparatus for containing cut sheets, a sheet feeder unit for feeding a cut sheet contained in the feed cassette to the main body of printing apparatus, a printing unit for printing on the cut sheet feed by the sheet feeder unit, a bar code provided on the feed cassette or the cut sheet contained in the feed cassette for representing various information about the cut sheet, a bar code reader for reading the bar code, and an electronic control apparatus for controlling the sheet feeder unit and the printing unit. The bar code reader is provided on the main body of the printing apparatus at which the bar code reader is able to read the bar code when the feed cassette is loaded in the main body of the printing apparatus. The electronic control apparatus controls the sheet feeder unit and the printing unit based on the bar code read by the bar code reader.

摘要: An optical image transfer system for transferring images to a photosensitive medium, which has a light source for generating a radiation having a first wavelength, and a wavelength converter disposed in a light path between the light source and the photosensitive medium, for converting the first wavelength of the radiation generated by the light source, to a second wavelength which is shorter than the first wavelength and to which the photosensitive medium is sensitive. The wavelength converter may be used in a system wherein images are transferred to a color-imaging photosensitive medium.

摘要: A magnetic recording medium is disclosed wherein the data tracks are formed of magnetic layers and the non-data tracks are formed of non-magnetic layers. The data tracks and non-data tracks are alternately disposed and the non-data tracks do not effect recording/reproducing/erasing of the data tracks. Another medium is disclosed wherein the magnetic and non-magnetic layers are alternately disposed in the direction of recording/reproducing and the magnetizing transition width is shortened so that the bit length may be shortened. A reproducing apparatus is also disclosed which includes a discriminator for discriminating the magnetizing direction of the magnetic layer on the data tracks on the basis of a detection signal fed from the reproducing head.

摘要: A plurality of pattern electrodes which are disposed in correspondence with the printing dots are provided on one surface of a substrate biased in one direction. An anisotropic electroconductive element is supported to enable its release on the substrate which has a first turn-on surface contacting the pattern electrodes on its substrate, and a second turn-on surface contacting the electroconductive transfer sheet and exhibiting excellent conductivity between only its first and second turn-on surfaces. In the printing action, electric conduction is achieved on a transfer sheet depending on the printing pattern from the pattern electrodes through the anisotropic element, so that the resistance layer of the sheet may emit heat, thereby the ink contained within the ink layer of the sheet is melted for printing.

摘要: An image recording device wherein a photo-sensitive paper or a plain paper is selected as a recording medium. If a monochrom image is to be recorded, a provisional image formed with light-shield materials which corresponds to an original image to be recorded is directly transferred onto the plain paper to form a monochrom image thereon. If a color image is to be recorded, the light-shield image is once transferred onto an image carrier, and the light-shield image carried on the image carrier is exposed on the photo-sensitive paper to form a latent image thereon. The latent image formed on the photo-sensitive paper by the above exposure is then developed to a visible color image.
