An image formation device, such as a printer, forms an image in a transfer format. The image formation device is configured to execute a predetermined down sequence to prepare the device for the next image formation operation after completion of an image formation operation. Alternatively, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, the device is configured to execute a blank rotation sequence instead of executing the down sequence after completion of an image formation operation. The device may have the ability to form an image from different image generation sources. A determination of whether an image formation operation switches from one image generation source to using another image generation source may be based on whether the predetermined condition is satisfied. The predetermined condition may be that the sizes of the images formed using each image generation source are equal. The down sequence may include a density control for stabilizing a cleaning operation inside the device and an output density of the device. The blank rotation sequence may not include the density control. The device may also be configured to restart an image formation operation after the blank rotation sequence.

The purpose of the present invention is to develop a method for producing a large amount of an insoluble aggregate that is equivalent to an insoluble aggregate formed in the brain of a patient. A method of producing an insoluble aggregate of a neurodegenerative-disease-related protein according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (1) introducing an insoluble fraction originated from the brain of a neurodegenerative disease patient into a cultured cell in which the neurodegenerative-disease-related protein can be expressed in a constitutive manner; (2) culturing the cultured cell into which the insoluble fraction has been introduced; and (3) extracting separating an insoluble fraction from the cultured cell. Optionally, the method may additionally comprise a step of amplifying the insoluble aggregate of the neurodegenerative-disease-related protein in the cultured cell.

A ground surface as an image acquiring object is acquired by a synthetic aperture radar mounted on an artificial satellite at a usual time before occurrence of a disaster and thereby radar image data are obtained. After the occurrence of the disaster, an image of the ground surface as the image acquiring object is acquired within days shorter than the number of orbit returning days and by comparing this radar image data with the radar image data acquired at the usual time so as to try to early grasp a damaged situation. At a recovering and rebuilding time after the occurrence of the disaster, images of the image acquiring object are periodically acquired so as to prepare a recovering and rebuilding plan and prevent secondary disasters.
