The photovoltaic device includes a plurality of first layers made of a first semiconducting material and a plurality of second layers made of a second semiconducting material that is different from the first semiconducting material, wherein the second semiconducting material includes a localized level or intermediate band in a forbidden band, the first layers and the second layers are alternately laminated one by one, at least two of the second layers are each disposed between a pair of the first layers, and a thickness of each of the second layers is thinner than a thickness of four molecular layers of the first semiconducting material.

    摘要： This invention provides an image processing system and image processing method which can specify and save an input image which matches a predetermined pattern and also simplify the determination process. Vector data is generated from image information input by a scanner. Keyword information to inhibit reuse, which is contained in the image information, is input. The similarity between the input vector data and the keyword information is determined. Only when it is determined that the vector data is similar to the keyword information, the generated vector data is stored in a storage device.

    摘要： An image filing apparatus includes a reading unit for reading an image of a mark sheet. The mark sheet has a plurality of index areas on each of which an index image representing index information for retrieving an image stored in a storage medium is to be printed, a plurality of check areas on each of which a check for assigning the corresponding one of the plurality of index areas is to be entered, and a drawing area for drawing an index image to be newly registered, and for outputting an image signal. The apparatus also includes a detector for detecting which check area has been checked based on the image signal from the reading unit, a registration unit for registering, in the index area corresponding to the check area detected by the detector the index image drawn in the drawing area, and a provision unit for providing the index image drawn in the drawing area as index information of an original to be read by the reading unit after the mark sheet.
