A method for automatically detecting errors in machine translation using a parallel corpus includes analyzing morphemes of a target language sentence in the parallel corpus and a machine-translated target language sentence, corresponding to a source language sentence, to classify the morphemes into words; aligning by words and decoding, respectively, a group of the source language sentence and the machine-translated target language sentence, and a group of the source language sentence and the target language sentence in the parallel corpus; classifying by types errors in the machine-translated target language sentence by making a comparison, word by word, between the decoded target language sentence in the parallel corpus and the decoded machine-translated target language sentence; and computing error information in the machine-translated target language sentence by examining a frequency of occurrence of the classified error types.

A verb pattern automatic extension and verification apparatus for use in a Korean-Chinese machine translation system automatically extracts the verb pattern source part that is not applied with the verb pattern contained in the current Korean and Chinese pattern dictionary, and automatically generates the new Korean-Chinese verb pattern based on Chinese target language. The apparatus further automatically extends one newly generated Korean-Chinese verb pattern to a plurality of similar verb pattern candidates, and newly registers the newly-generated and extended Korean-Chinese verb patterns in the Korean and Chinese verb pattern dictionary database. Accordingly, it is possible to easily and automatically collect a large quantity of the Korean and Chinese verb patterns. Further, the translation rate of the Korean-Chinese machine translation system can be rapidly increased due to the automatically increasing verb patterns.

The present invention relates to novel human thrombopoietin (hTPO) derivatives, and to process of preparation thereof. Particularly, sugar chains are introduced into native hTPO by substituting amino acids such as asparagine for amino acids at specific positions in native hTPO, preparing novel hTPO derivatives with high activities enhancing the platelet production in vivo. Therefore, the novel hTPO derivatives of this invention may be useful for the treatment of thrombocytopenia associated with anticancer therapy or the transplantation of bone marrow.

The present invention relates to an uplink/downlink scheduling in a mobile communication system and signal transmitting/receiving scheme using the same, and more particularly a method and apparatus for a user equipment to transmit and receive signals. Each user equipment manages an interferential base station list to meet the process rate requirements. If a specific user equipment receives a first step scheduling signal including contention number information, base stations in a base station list managed by the corresponding user equipment are regarded as having real inter-cell interference links. Hence, in order for a base station having a highest priority to enable a resource assignment in a corresponding scheduling stage, a silencing signal for requesting a resource assignment prohibition is transmitted to the rest of the base stations.
