The free trolley comprises a main body and a slider mounted thereon and slidable longitudinally of the trolley, the slider being provided with an engaging dog and an anticoasting dog, the slider being connected to the main body by a shock absorber.

    摘要: An apparatus for transferring carriers from a first power line to a second power line through a power line discontinuous section. Each carrier has a dog engageable with each of the pivotable pushers on each of the power lines and a pusher raising cam having a dog receiving recess at its rear portion. The pusher includes a downward portion and a laterally extending horizontal portion at the lower end of the downward portion, the horizontal portion being formed with an upper pushing face and a lower pushing face on its front side and having a cavity in its bottom at the middle of the length thereof. The cam has a front lower portion, a rear higher portion having its top positioned at the same level as the top of the dog and a projection on the top of the front lower portion. The free line has a carrier standby section coextensive with the first power line near the discontinuous section and longer than the carrier. The standby section is laterally displaced from immediately below the first power line within a range permitting the horizontal portion of a pusher advancing from behind a carried at rest in the standby section to engage the projection of the cam on the carrier upon disengagement from the dog on the following carrier to transfer the standby carrier to the discontinuous section, after allowing the follower to stop in lapping relation to the preceding carrier.

In a curved section, the main rail and the auxiliary rails are arranged on arcs of three concentric circles.

    摘要: A power-and-free conveyor comprising a carrier including front, rear and intermediate free trolleys at least three in number, a first connecting bar supported by the intermediate free trolley and either one of the front and rear free trolleys, a rail provided on the first connecting bar and extending along the conveyor line, at least two roller trap portions formed in the rail and spaced apart by a predetermined distance longitudinally of the rail, a second connecting bar supported by the first connecting bar and the other of the front and rear free trolleys, and a roller supported by the second connecting bar as projected thereabove and rollingly movable along the rail; and a roller releasing device for releasing the roller from the trap portion and returning the roller onto the rail. For the transport of an article, the roller is caused to fall into the trap portion of the rail most proximate to the second connecting bar. When the carrier is to be retained in a standby position at an accumulation section, the roller is caused to fall into the trap portion of the rail remotest from the second connecting bar.

    摘要: A hanger device for trolley conveyors includes a pair of opposed hanger arms suspended from a carrier and approximately U-shaped when seen sidewise. The two hanger arms are closed while transporting an article and are opened for loading or unloading. Each of the hanger arms comprises a fixed front hanging member, a movable rear hanging member and an extensible horizontal member connected at its opposite ends to the lower ends of the hanging members and provided with article support members inwardly projecting from and attached to its front and rear portions. In accordance with the kind of the article, the rear hanging members are suitably moved forward or rearward with the horizontal members shortened or extended, whereby the length of the hanger frame is variable.

    摘要: In an apparatus for preventing runaway of carriers in a power-and-free conveyor, each of the carriers has a runaway preventing stopper rotatable about its center portion in a substantially vertical plane parallel with the direction of advance of the conveyor, and a restraining member engageable with one end of the stopper for usually preventing the other end thereof from turning forward. The stopper is biased always by weighted arm to turn the other end forward. Runaway preventing contact members are arranged at a spacing in each of rising and falling gradient sections of the conveyor along the path of movement of the stopper other end. When the carrier runs out of control in the falling gradient section, the stopper other end collides with one of the contact members and is thereby turned rearward into engagement with the restraining member against the weighted arm while bringing the one end of the stopper into engagement with another contact member to prevent the carrier from running away. In the event of runaway in the rising section, the other end of the stopper comes into engagement with one of the contact members with its one end in engagement with the restraining member to prevent the carrier from running out of control.
