摘要： A master medium for use in magnetic transfer of information includes a metal disk which has a first relief or recess pattern representing the information. The metal disk is produced by exposing a photoresist film formed on a base disk with a laser or electron beam modulated with the information while rotating the base disk; developing the photoresist film so as to form an original disk having a second relief or recess pattern; depositing metal on the original disk so as to mold the metal disk on the original disk; and removing the metal disk from the original disk.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a magnetic head core of a complex magnetic head includes binding a first core material of a U-shaped cross section and a second core material of a flat plate shape to form a tubular core material having two bonded portions between the first and second core materials. Then a plurality of grooves are formed in the tubular core material across one of the bonded portions to form a plurality of track surfaces. The grooves are then filled with a fused glass material, and the other of the bonded portions is removed to form a substantially U-shaped core block having a plurality of track surfaces separated by the glass-filled grooves. The U-shaped core block is then sliced along each of the grooves to obtain a plurality of magnetic head cores. A complex magnetic head manufactured by the method is also disclosed.

摘要： A photo film cassette has a spool core about which photo film is wound in a form of a roll. A cassette shell contains the spool core in a rotatable manner. Two flanges have a disk shape, and are secured to respective ends of the spool core, for regulating lateral edges of the roll of the photo film. A circumferential lip is disposed on each flange, is extended toward the opposite one of the flanges, wraps one of the lateral edges of an outermost turn of the photo film of the roll, and prevents the photo film from being loosened. A rim portion is disposed on an circular edge of the circumferential lip confronted with the opposite one of the flanges, to project with a bend away from the spool core. A contact face is disposed on the rim portion, and contacts the one of the lateral edges of the photo film when the photo film is unwound from the spool core or wound back about the spool core. The contact face has a contact range of 0.15-0.8 mm in contacting the one of the lateral edges of the photo film.

摘要： A photo film cassette includes a spool core, on which the photo film is wound in a form of roll. A cassette shell contains the spool core in rotatable fashion. First and second flanges are respectively secured to ends of the spool core, for regulating positions of sides of the photo film roll. A first ring-like lip is formed integrally with a periphery of the first flange, is projected toward the roll, is contacted on one edge of an outermost turn of the roll, and prevent the roll from being loosened. The first and second flanges are formed from resin in accordance with injection molding. The resin has temperature of thermal deformation being 80° C. or higher under 18.6 kg/cm2, modulus in elasticity in flexure being 13,000-30,000 kg/cm2, surface hardness being 80 or more in Rockwell R-scale, and high fluidity in molds for the injection molding. The first and second flanges have an outer diameter of 15 mm or more, thickness of 0.3 mm or less, and a maximum projected area of 100 mm2 or more as measured with a contour thereof kept substantially circular.

A plasma having a ring-form is generated by the microwaves radiated from the slot antennas, which are disposed at an angle which is neither in parallel to nor perpendicular to a surface current flowing on a slot antenna plate. Thereby, the sample is uniformly processed.

摘要： A coaxial passage for supplying microwaves is vertically provided over a dielectric window forming part of a processing chamber, and a conductor plate for transmitting the microwaves is arranged over the dielectric window which is positioned on the outer circumference of the coaxial passage. A microwave transmission passage can be formed between the surface of a plasma so produced as to have a critical electron density n.sub.c, and the conductor plate thereby to transmit microwaves without any reflection along the dielectric window uniformly from the center to the outer circumference.

摘要： A chemical analysis film cartridge has a box-like cartridge body in which a plurality of chemical analysis films are stacked. The chemical analysis films are taken out one by one through a take-out port formed in one end of the cartridge body. The take-out port has a first opening portion which is opened through a first side wall of the cartridge body and through which one chemical analysis film can be passed and a second opening portion which opened through one end face of the cartridge body. A first engagement portion is formed on the outer surface of the first side wall near the first opening portion and a second engagement portion is formed on the outer surface of a second side wall opposed to the first side wall. A capping member having third and fourth engagement portions is removably mounted on the cartridge body to cover the first and second opening portions of the take-out port with the third and fourth engagement portions respectively engaged with the first and second engagement portions. The capping member is provided with a protruding portion which projects into the cartridge body and pushes inside the chemical analysis films away from the first opening portion.
