Abstract: A gas furnace according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a mixer for mixing air and a fuel gas, which are introduced through an intake pipe and a manifold, respectively, to form a mixture; a mixing pipe through which the mixture, having passed through the mixer, flows; a burner assembly for producing a combustion gas by burning the mixture having passed through the mixing pipe; and heat exchangers through which the combustion gas flows, wherein the burner assembly includes: a plurality of burners, to which a flame produced during combustion of the mixture is anchored; a mixing chamber serving as a medium for delivering the mixture from the mixing pipe to the burners. Accordingly, a full premixing mechanism may be provided, and a mixing rate of the fuel gas and the air may be maximized, thereby greatly reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. Further, the burner assembly includes a uniform guide disposed inside the mixing chamber and allowing the mixture to be uniformly distributed to each of the plurality of burners, thereby preventing an increase in local flame temperature, and greatly reducing nitrogen oxide emissions.

In this case, the mixer has a front end connected to the intake pipe, a rear end connected to the mixing pipe, and a side surface connected to the manifold.

Abstract: Provided is an RPM control method for an inducer for a gas furnace that induces a flow of combustion gas produced in a burner from a heat exchanger to an exhaust pipe. The RPM control method for an inducer for a gas furnace includes: (a) initiating a heating operation for the gas furnace; (b) determining whether the operation time during which the heating operation is performed is equal to or longer than a first time period; (c) if it is determined that the operation time is equal to or longer than the first time period, detecting whether a pressure switch is turned OFF; and (d) if the pressure switch is detected as turned OFF, increasing the RPM of the inducer by a first value.

Abstract: Provided is a condensate water trap for a gas furnace that collects and discharges condensate water produced in a heat exchanger and an exhaust pipe. The condensate water trap includes: a first inlet through which the condensate water produced in the heat exchanger is introduced; a second inlet through which the condensate water produced in the exhaust pipe is introduced; a first flow path through which the condensate water coming from the first inlet passes; a second flow path through which the condensate water coming from the second inlet passes; an outlet through which the condensate water introduced through the first and second inlets is discharged; a third flow path into which the residual condensate water passed through at least one of the first and second flow paths but not discharged through the outlet is introduced; and a sensing mechanism that senses if the amount of residual condensate water introduced into the third flow path is greater than or equal to a given amount.

Abstract: A gas furnace includes a mixing pipe through which a mixture formed by mixing fuel gas and air flows; a burner assembly that generates combustion gas by burning the mixture that passed through the mixing pipe; and a heat exchanger through which the combustion gas flows. In this case, the burner assembly includes a burner in which flame generated when the mixture is burned is seated; and a mixing chamber that mediates delivery of the mixture from the mixing pipe to the burner, thereby significantly reducing NOx emission.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an organic polymer adsorbent, an organic polymer adsorbent composition, and a method for preparing an organic polymer adsorbent and, more specifically, to an organic polymer adsorbent to be used for a ventilation device such as a desiccant dehumidifier. According to the present invention, an adsorbent material is changed to an organic polymer adsorbent such that the mechanical stability and durability of the material itself can be ensured, and the specific surface area of interconnected inner pores and adsorbents and the size of formed pores can be controlled since toluene is contained as a pore generator of the adsorbent. Therefore, the adsorbent of the present invention has superior adsorption performance over that of other conventional organic polymer adsorbents containing a salt-type carboxyl group and has remarkably improved desorption performance, and thus has an effect of very remarkable energy efficiency.
