Abstract:
The invention relates to a method comprising classifying user equipment (UE) cells, to which carrier aggregation is applied, into a plurality of time advance groups. Uplink-time synchronization is managed using the time synchronization of a primary cell (Pcell) in the time synchronization group to which the primary cell belongs. For other time synchronization groups, the uplink time synchronization is managed using the time synchronization of a secondary cell (SCell) that is particularly set in the relevant time synchronization group. Thus, the plurality of time synchronizations can be effectively managed for the UE and a base station (BS).
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of transmitting a signal at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving a radio resource control (RRC) configuration message from a network; determining a preference value relating to power saving after receiving the RRC configuration message; and transmitting the determined preference value relating to the power saving to the network.
Abstract:
A method for receiving a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising acquiring, by the UE, a predetermined system information block (SIB) from a base station (BS); and upon acquiring the predetermined SIB, transmitting an MBMS interest indication message by the UE to the BS. The predetermined SIB includes information related to MBMS service continuity. Whether the transmitting of the MBMS interest indication message is allowed is provided to the UE through the predetermined SIB.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for processing a NAS signaling request. A method for performing a non-access stratum (NAS) signaling process by means of a terminal in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of receiving a first message that includes information indicating a network failure from a network node of a first network; a step of starting a timer relating to a network selection; and a step of selecting a second network from among network candidates excluding the first network during the operation of the timer relating to a network selection.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing, by a UE, communication associated with access control. The method may comprise the steps of: acquiring information associated with exception data; determining an access category of an access attempt for the exception data, on the basis of the information associated with the exception data; performing an access control check on the basis of the determined access category; and, when access is allowed according to the access control check, transmitting the exception data.
Abstract:
A method of selecting, by a user equipment (UE), a network for performing a registration in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes checking a condition related to a connectivity state of the UE; selecting a first network included in a forbidden public land mobile network (PLMN) list based on the condition related to the connectivity state of the UE; transmitting, to the first network, a registration request message; and receiving, from the first network, a response message as a response to the registration request message.
Abstract:
Disclosed as a method of controlling access to a network in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, a method of performing access to a network by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system may include receiving first information on whether a specific access identity is valid in a specific public land mobile network (PLMN) from the network, when the UE selects a PLMN and attempts access, determining whether the specific access identity is valid in the PLMN selected by the UE based on the first information, selecting an access identity based on the determination, and performing an access control procedure based on the selected access identity.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method performed by a network node that manages mobility in a first public land mobile network (PLMN). The network node may receive an access request message of a terminal from a base station in the first PLMN. The terminal may be a terminal having joined a second PLMN. On the basis of occurrence of a failure in the second PLMN, the network node may determine whether to allow the terminal to roam to the first PLMN.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for efficient public land mobile network (PLMN) selection upon authentication failure for each network slice in a roaming network. A user equipment (UE) receives a registration rejection message from an access and mobility management function (AMF) of a first PLMN. The registration rejection message includes rejected network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) including first single NSSAI (S-NSSAI) and cause value #62 for the rejected NSSAI. The UE: generates second requested NSSAI including second S-NSSAI on the basis that i) the UE does not have allowed NSSAI and configured NSSAI, and ii) default configured NSSAI includes the second S-NSSAI that is not included in the rejected NSSAI and corresponds to a network slice of which the UE requests registration; and transmits a second registration request message including the second requested NSSAI to the AMF of the first PLMN.
