Abstract: A wireless hoist system including a first hoist device having a first motor and a first wireless transceiver and a second hoist device having a second motor and a second wireless transceiver. The wireless hoist system includes a controller in wireless communication with the first wireless transceiver and the second wireless. The controller is configured to receive a user input and determine a first operation parameter and a second operation parameter based on the user input. The controller is also configured to provide, wirelessly, a first control signal indicative of the first operation parameter to the first hoist device and provide, wirelessly, a second control signal indicative of the second operation parameter to the second hoist device. The first hoist device operates based on the first control signal and the second hoist device operates based on the second control signal.

Abstract: A portable power unit comprises a battery pack interface configured to receive a battery pack and a power tool interface that is configured to electrically connect to an external power tool. The tool control signal is operable to control power provided to the external power tool. The portable power unit further comprises a bypass circuit configured to provide power from the battery pack to the external power tool. The portable power unit further comprises a controller configured to determine whether the external power tool is operable to be controlled by the tool control circuit and to control the bypass circuit to provide passthrough power to the power tool interface when the external power tool is not operable to be controlled by the tool control circuit.

Abstract: A compactor including a plate, an electric motor coupled to the plate and including a motor shaft configured to rotate about a rotational axis, and an exciter coupled to the plate and configured to vibrate the plate in response to receiving torque from the electric motor. The exciter includes an exciter shaft and an eccentric mass attached thereto. The compactor additionally includes a battery configured to provide power to the electric motor, and a gear train to transfer torque from the motor shaft to the exciter shaft. The gear train permits the exciter to be driven at a rotational speed that is faster or slower than a rotational speed of the electric motor.
