Abstract: An electric motor includes: brushes (31) that are brought into sliding contact with a commutator of an armature that is fixed to a rotation shaft and feeds electric power; a brush holder stay (33) that supports the brushes (31) via brush holders (41); noise prevention elements (110) that are electrically connected to the brushes (31); and terminals (130) and jump wires (141) that electrically connect between the brush holders (41) and the noise prevention elements (110), wherein first connection portions, which connect between the noise prevention elements (110) and the terminals (130), and second connection portions, which connect between the terminals (130) and the jump wires (141), are both disposed only on a first surface (S1) of the brush holder stay (33).

Abstract: In an electric motor apparatus including an electric motor (13), a speed-reduction mechanism (14) which transmits motive power of the electric motor (13), a housing (15) which accommodates the speed-reduction mechanism (14) and the electric motor (13), and a yoke (16a) fixed to an outer portion of the housing (15), the housing (15) is provided with a concave portion (21), a holding hole (18a), and an accommodation chamber (15a). A connector unit (25) is moved along the first direction and installed to a concave portion (21). A brush holder (26) is moved along the second direction and installed to the holding hole (18a). The speed-reduction mechanism (14) is moved along the first direction and accommodated in the accommodation chamber (15a). The yoke (16a) is moved along the second direction and fixed to the housing (15). Therefore, no restriction is imposed on the routing of an external connector connected to the connector unit (25).

Abstract: When teeth (12) are allocated in a circumferential direction in sequence of a U phase, a V phase and a W phase, a forward wound coil wound on each of the phases is provided as a coil of the U phase, the V phase and the W phase, and a reverse wound coil wound on each of the phases is provided as the coil of a −U phase, a −V phase and a −W phase, the coils are electrically connected between the neighboring segments in an order of the U phase, the −W phase, the −W phase, the V phase, the −U phase, the −U phase, the W phase, the −V phase and the −V phase, and the wire (14) drawn between the armature core (8) and the commutator (10) is drawn around the rotation shaft in the same direction.

Abstract: A fifth ball bearing that rotatably supports a rotating shaft is provided on one side of a pinion gear in an axial direction of the rotating shaft. A sixth ball bearing that rotatably supports the rotating shaft is provided on the other side of the pinion gear in the axial direction of the rotating shaft. A carrier is provided with a bearing fixing portion that supports the fifth ball bearing immovably in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, and a bearing guide portion that supports the sixth ball bearing movably in the axial direction of the rotating shaft. Abstract: A deceleration mechanism is provided with first and second gears, a first tooth part arranged in the first gear and extending spirally in an axial direction of the first gear, an engagement projected part arranged on the first tooth part, second tooth parts arranged on the second gear, and an engagement recessed part arranged between the adjacent second tooth parts. The engagement projected part is formed in an arc shape in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the first gear and has a curvature center eccentric from a rotation center of the first gear. The second tooth parts are inclined with respect to the axial direction of the first gear and arranged in a circumferential direction of the second gear. Abstract: In a 4-pole, 6-slot, 18-segment electric motor, one forward winding coil (91) and two reverse winding coils (92, 93) are wound on each tooth (12). When the forward winding coils are formed of coils corresponding to a U phase, a V phase, and a W phase and the reverse winding coils are formed of coils corresponding to a “−U” phase, a “−V” phase, and a “−W” phase, the coils, which correspond to a U phase, a “−W” phase, a “−W” phase, a V phase, a “−U” phase, a “−U” phase, a W phase, a “−V” phase, and a “−V” phase, are electrically connected in this order between the adjacent segments. When the number of turns of the coils (91) corresponding to a U phase, a V phase, and a W phase is denoted by T1, the number of turns of the coils (92), which correspond to a “−U” phase, a “−V” phase, and a “−W” phase and first come into sliding contact with a brush, is denoted by T2, and the number of turns of the coils (93), which correspond to a “−U” phase, a “−V” phase, and a “−W” phase and later come into sliding contact with the brush, is denoted by T3, “T2>T1>T3” is satisfied.
