摘要: A sheet separating device is attached to a fixing device. The fixing device includes: a fixing member that is a rotary body having a heating unit; and a pressing member that is pressed against and is brought into contact with the fixing member. The fixing device conveys a sheet material that carries unfixed toner thereon through a nip section formed by the fixing member and the pressing member so as to fix the unfixed toner image to the sheet material. The sheet separating device includes: at least one nozzle member that discharges compressed gas from the direction of a nip outlet toward the nip section along the fixing member. The nozzle member is rotatably supported by a shaft member that is provided parallel to the fixing member and includes a gas flow passage through which compressed gas is supplied to the nozzle member.

摘要: In a transfer-fixing device for transferring and fixing a toner image on a transfer-fixing side of a recording medium, a transfer-fixing member carries the toner image. A pressing member presses against the transfer-fixing member to form a nip between the transfer-fixing member and the pressing member through which the recording medium passes. A heat transmission member is provided upstream from the nip in a recording medium conveyance direction to heat the transfer-fixing side of the recording medium while guiding the recording medium to the nip. A heating member is connected to the heat transmission member to heat the heat transmission member. A biasing member biases the recording medium guided by the heat transmission member against the heat transmission member.

摘要: An image forming method using a two component developing system is provided in which a print speed is not less than 300 mm/s, a peak-to-peak voltage of an AC component in a developing bias is not more than 1.3 kV, a sufficient image density can be ensured, and a recorded image having a small amount of magnetic carrier remains on the image and having high image quality can be obtained. A magnetic carrier that forms a two component developer contains a magnetic core and a resin. The magnetic core is a ferrite containing Sr and Ca inside thereof at the same time, having a small crystal grain diameter, a high density crystal-grain boundary structure, and an extremely large capacitance of the grain boundary. Use of the ferrite can provide the above method.

摘要: A film thickness measuring device is provided with a light source, a spectroscopic sensor, a processor, and a storage unit, and configured in such a manner that light from the light source vertically enters a plane to be measured provided with a film and the light reflected by the plane to be measured enters the spectroscopic sensor. The storage unit stores theoretical values of reflectivity distributions of respective film thicknesses and theoretical values of color characteristic variables of the respective film thicknesses. The processor finds the thickness of the film of the plane to be measured from the reflectivity distribution measured by the spectroscopic sensor by using the theoretical values of the reflectivity distributions of the respective film thicknesses or the theoretical values of the color characteristic variables of the respective film thicknesses stored in the storage unit.

The charging circuit includes excess voltage detectors for detecting whether the voltage is an excess voltage, and a charging controller for determining an overcharge state of each battery cell on the basis of the voltages detected and controlling an ON/OFF of a charging switch. Voltage followers include an operational amplifier, NPN transistor, and the like, connected to a midpoint between a first battery cell and a second battery cell and a midpoint between the second battery cell and the third battery, respectively. The outputs of the voltage followers are configured as the grounds of the excess voltage detectors, respectively.
