    摘要: Intended is to inform a player of it through both the visual sense and the auditory sense that an action has been recognized. A velocity vector calculating unit calculates, by using the image of the action of the player taken with a camera (20), the velocity vector of the action, in which an object operated by a player (72) comes toward a contact plane (W). A moving time calculating unit calculates, by using the velocity vector and the distance between the object and the contact plane (W), the moving time period required for the object to reach the contact plane. A delay time acquiring unit acquires a delay time period till the voice uttered by a speaker (42) reaches the player (72). A voice control unit outputs a predetermined voice after lapse of the time period calculated by subtracting the delay time from the moving time period, so that the player (72) may listen to the voice, substantially simultaneously as the object contacts the contact plane.

A protocol slot generation unit, when receiving from a CPU a prefetch command in which a utilization time of data to be prefetched is specified, generates a protocol slot based on the utilization time and registers it in a schedule list storage unit. When receiving a regular access command, the protocol slot generation unit registers a protocol slot in a regular protocol queue storage unit. A cost evaluation unit evaluates an issuance cost of the prefetch command based on a cache retention time of data to be prefetched and evaluates an issuance cost of the regular access command based on a resource occupation cost. A protocol issuance unit decides which command shall be issued, the prefetch command or regular access command, based on the evaluation result of these issuance costs.

    摘要: A normal vector mapping unit maps a texture of the MIP-map level corresponding to a level of detail (LOD) of a polygon onto a polygon surface to generate a pseudo-normal vector on the polygon surface. A normal vector replacing unit refers to the vector quantization (VQ) table of the relevant MIP-map level and replaces the pseudo-normal vector on the polygon surface with a quantized reference normal vector. A brightness value acquiring unit refers to the color lookup table (CLUT) of the relevant MIP-map level, and acquires the brightness value corresponding to the reference normal vector on the polygon surface. The brightness value acquiring unit also interpolates brightness values between different MIP-map levels. A graphic processor combines the RGB value of each pixel of the polygon surface with the brightness value acquired by the brightness value acquiring unit to write the combined data into a frame buffer.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus for performing rendering processing of three-dimensional objects is provided. An object storage unit stores the three-dimensional data of the object and the array data of B-box which encloses the spatial region which the object occupies. A grouping unit reads in the B-box array from the object storage unit, does grouping of multiple B-boxes into groups based on the object characteristics and level of detail information. A rendering processing unit derives a brick in which there are B-boxes belonging to the same group and generates image data by doing rendering processing independently by brick to be stored in an image storage unit. A consolidation unit consolidates the image data per brick stored in the image storage unit and generates the final output image data to be displayed.

In the event of start of next unit rendering period, the second function block, on the other hand, shifts the power-saving mode back to a normal mode in the first function block, based on a vertical synchronizing signal indicative of the start of next unit rendering period.
