Abstract:
A location estimation system includes a plurality of Kalman filters, a UWB position system, a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor and a MEMs chip that provides gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer information. The data is Kalman filtered to determine precise location information that is more precise any sensor that is processed to determine the probable location of a device. The system further includes at least one camera based location determination systems is configured to provide either two dimensional or three-dimensional data wherein the system utilizes the absolute location information as well as the camera data to determine a precise location notwithstanding anomalies in the absolute location information. In one embodiment, the data from the location estimation system is fused with data from the camera based location determination system to generate data that, overall, is more accurate than data from either source.

Abstract:
Methods, devices, signals, and systems are provided in a message routing architecture which provides improved capabilities for integrating “digital” communication through email messages with “analog” communication through voice and/or fax or pager messages. Email can be addressed using nothing more than a standard telephone or fax number. If the registered owner of the telephone or fax number has a corresponding email address, then the invention converts the telephone or fax number to the email address for delivery and uses standard email delivery systems to deliver the message. If no conventional delivery email address is known, or if the message sender or recipient specify multiple delivery modes, then the email message content is transformed into voice, pager and/or fax content and delivered to the recipient using the telephone or fax number which was specified as the email address. Familiar telecommunications services such as call forwarding and selective call blocking can also be used with messages that originate as email. The invention also supports use of telecommunications numbers as indexes into databases which contain public key certificates, to make it unnecessary for a proposed message recipient to provide its public key expressly in advance to each particular proposed message originator.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for customizing and monitoring multiple interfaces, such as, multiple IEEE 1149.1 standard joint test access group (JTAG) interfaces and implementing enhanced fault tolerance and isolation features. A first interface is connected to a pair of master sources. A second interface is connected to a plurality of target interfaces; and a third interface is provided for a plurality of predefined control signals. A pair of redundant selectors is provided for coupling a select signal to the first multiplexer for selecting one of the plurality of target interfaces. A pair of redundant ATTENTION monitor functions is provided for monitoring ATTENTION signals for each of the plurality of target interfaces
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing unit includes a hollow support with a reservoir or container located within the support. The container has a one-way valve at its outlet for dispensing fluid while preventing any flow of contaminants back into the container. As fluid is dispensed, the container can be collapsed to assure complete evacuation of the fluid.
