    Abstract: A robot control system acquires request information requesting a robot to keep within a prescribed distance from a user and to collect surrounding information, acquires, from the robot, location information indicating a location of the robot and confirmation information indicating that the robot is near the user, and transmits, to the robot, a command for changing a setting of the robot from a first specification to a second specification in response to the request in a case where it is determined, on a basis of the map information, the location information, and the confirmation information, that the user of the robot is accompanying the robot outside a home area of the user, the first specification enabling the robot to collect the surrounding information inside the home area, and the second specification enabling the robot to collect the surrounding information outside the home area.

    Abstract: A robot detects, through a sensor, the location and movement direction of a user and an object near the user, sets a nearby ground area in front at the feet of the user according to the detected location and movement direction of the user, controls an illumination device in the robot to irradiate the nearby ground area with light while driving at least one pair of legs or wheels of the robot to cause the robot to accompany the user, specifies the type and the location of the detected object, and if the object is a dangerous object and is located ahead of the user, controls the illumination device to irradiate a danger area including at least a portion of the dangerous object with light in addition to irradiating the nearby ground area with light.

    Abstract: A method of providing information includes acquiring allergy information related to a user from a first server, the allergy information including information indicating a level of an allergic reaction of the user to each ingredient, generating, based on the menu information and the allergy information, a personalized menu arranged for the user according to the allergy information, the menu information including information indicating one or more ingredients contained in each dish and an amount of each ingredient, and transmitting the personalized menu to the information terminal. In the generating of the personalized menu, when the level of the allergic reaction of an ingredient in the menu information is equal to or lager that a criterion value, the ingredient is determined as an allergy ingredient that causes allergy. The personalized menu includes one or more dishes, in each of which the allergy ingredient that causes allergy is reduced.
