摘要: This invention relates to a process for the preparation of pyrimidinone compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein Ar is an optionally substituted aryl or heteroaromatic moiety,R.sup.3 is an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl,R.sup.5 is a hydrogen atom, halo, cyano or an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy or alkylthio, andR.sup.6 is a hydrogen atom, cyano, or an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, aralkyl or heteroaryl. The process comprises reaction of an amidine and a malonic acid derivative to give a hydroxypyrimidinone followed by conversion of the resulting hydroxypyrimidinone to a sulfonyloxypyrimidinone followed by reaction of the resulting sulfonyloxypyrimidinone with an organometallic reagent to give the desired pyrimidinone. The hydroxypyrimidinones, wherein R.sup.6 is hydroxy and sulfonyloxypyrimidinones wherein R.sup.6 is a substituted sulfonyloxy moiety, are themselves new and useful intermediates in the preparation of the desired pyrimidinones.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for dynamically determining a primary or slave assignment based on an order of cable connection between two devices are provided. Embodiments include detecting, by a first device, insertion of one end of a cable into a port of the first device; determining, by the first device, whether a power signal is received from the cable at the port of the first device; if the power signal is received, performing, by the first device, a data transfer operation over the cable as a slave device to a second device that is coupled to the other end of the cable; and if the power signal is not received, performing, by the first device, a data transfer operation over the cable as a primary device to the second device that is coupled to the other end of the cable.

摘要: An apparatus such as a user equipment is in an embodiment of the invention configured to broadcast an access request to at least one neighboring node, the access request containing signature information indicating a user identifier, to check whether a collision indicator is received from a relay node, and to send another access request depending on a received collision indicator. The collision indicator may e.g. be a signature collision indicator, received from the node in case of colliding users, or a collision indicator of transmission received when transmissions of access requests are colliding at the node. A relay node may be configured to receive an access request from a user equipment, to detect a collision, and to inform the user equipment on a detected collision, indicating a type of collision.

摘要: The present invention discloses a new data collection method employed by a middle layer between the host and the equipment, which improves the speed and consistency of data collection. The middle layer incorporated with the proposed data collection method functions as a data format converter as well as a data processor/classifier, which helps to filter and format messages before delivering data to the host or equipment. The proposed data collection method enables the middle layer to perform local reply, local data sampling, and group data polling, thus relieving processing resources of both the equipment and the host. This allows implementation of APC on older wafer fabrication processes using old equipment.
