Abstract: A configuration to allow a base station to be synchronized with an application server to enable the base station to align uplink transmissions of a UE with downlink reception periods of the UE. The base station communicates with a UE using periodic uplink traffic bursts and periodic downlink traffic bursts. The base station selects a time offset to at least one of uplink traffic or downlink traffic to increase an overlap between the uplink traffic bursts and the downlink traffic bursts. The base station sends the time offset to an AF.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network node may determine a first time location associated with a peak in data traffic for multiple devices in communication with a communications network including the network node. The network node may determine a second time location for the peak in the data traffic for a subset of the devices based on a threshold for an overall peak in data traffic for the multiple devices. The network node may transmit a signal that indicates the second time location for the peak in the data traffic for the subset of devices. The network node may communicate the data with the subset of devices based on the signal indicating the second time location.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas associated with different power classes. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. The local and auxiliary antennas may be associated with different power classes, and the first device may transmit a message to a base station indicating that the first device is capable of transmitting using antennas associated with different power classes. The first device may then receive configurations from a base station of different transmit powers to transmit on the antennas associated with the different power classes, and the first device may transmit uplink signals to the base station in accordance with the different transmit power configurations.

Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to mechanisms to implement improved interference tracking over time. A BS may transmit information to a UE that allows the UE to quantize channel measurements into interference states. The UE may transmit an interference change report as triggered by an event, such as an interference metric exceeding a threshold after quantizing into the interference states. This enables the system to capture and respond to abrupt changes. Further, the interference change report may include historic interference information. The UE may include statistics based on the historic interference information. The UE may further be triggered to transmit an interference change report in response to a BS requesting it, or in response to a configured period of time elapsing. The UE may further include MCS information predicted for one or more future time periods based on historic information, which the BS may use in scheduling.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that may allow a base station and user equipment (UE) to be in agreement on spatial quasi co-location (QCL) assumptions for transmission in certain scenarios. The techniques may be used, for example, to determine QCL assumptions for downlink transmissions sent in an initial control resource set (CORESET) on an initial downlink bandwidth part (BWP) where dedicated signaling of such assumptions may be lacking. In some cases, the techniques may involve a UE determining a beam to use for monitoring for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission on the initial CORESET in the initial downlink BWP that lacks dedicated signaling of QCL information and monitoring for the PDCCH on the initial CORESET in the initial BWP using the determined beam. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method may include a user equipment (UE) generating a set of multimedia packets including a first multimedia packet and a second multimedia packet that is generated after the first multimedia packet. The UE may add the set of multimedia packets to a queue and apply an uplink packet handling protocol. Using the uplink packet handling protocol, the UE may discard the first multimedia packet and transmit, to a base station, the second multimedia packet. Using the second multimedia packet, a server in communication with the base station may generate a video frame and transmit the video frame to the UE via the base station.

According to one or more aspects, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive downlink control information, and may determine assignment information for processing batch-based feedback based on the downlink control information. The UE may determine the batch-based feedback for a batch of downlink transmissions (for example, transmissions associated with packets of information) that are configured to be processed together by the UE. The UE may receive a downlink transmission from the base station, and may construct a codebook based on assignment information and the downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may determine acknowledgment feedback for the downlink transmission based on the codebook. The UE may transmit the acknowledgment feedback to the base station.
