Abstract: An apparatus of the present disclosure may be a network node, such as a user equipment (UE), or a component thereof. The apparatus may be configured to determine a set of values respectively corresponding to a set of signals received from a second network node, and the set of signals corresponds to a set of beams. The apparatus may be further configured to determine, based on the set of values, at least one predicted value, wherein the at least one predicted value corresponds to at least one beam with which to communicate with the second network node. The apparatus may be further configured to transmit, to the second network node, a report, and the report may include information indicating at least one confidence score that is associated with the at least one predicted value.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device and a second device may communicate via a channel. The first device may generate and transmit a reference signal, which may be a distortion probing reference signal with a high peak to average power ratio. In one implementation, the first device may use the reference signal as an input for a neural network model to learn a nonlinear response of the second device transmission components. In another implementation, the second device may sample the generated reference signal, and use the samples as inputs for a neural network model to learn the nonlinear response. The first device and the second device may exchange signaling based on learning the nonlinear response, and each device may compensate for the nonlinear response when communicating via the channel.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining tone patterns and associated power levels for transmission of reference signals. A tone pattern (e.g., with each tone pattern occupying a resource element in a resource block) can be determined for a reference signal for use in wireless communications between a receiving device and a transmitting device. A plurality of power levels for the tone pattern can be determined. The plurality of power levels can include a respective power level determined for each resource element associated with the tone pattern. One or more of the tone pattern or the plurality of power levels can be used (e.g., transmitted to the transmitting device) for transmission of the reference signal (e.g., from the transmitting device to the receiving device).

Information associated with the transmission of the reference signal using the tone pattern and the overlay code may be communicated by the receiving device.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) receives a channel state information (CSI) decoder and CSI encoder from a base station on a physical downlink control channel (PDSCH) or a media access control-control element (MAC-CE). The method also includes training the CSI decoder and CSI encoder based on observed channel and interference conditions to obtain updated decoder coefficients and updated encoder coefficients. The method further includes receiving an indication of resources for transmission of the updated encoder coefficients and updated decoder coefficients. The method includes transmitting the updated decoder coefficients and updated encoder coefficients to the base station in accordance with the indication of resources. Further, the method includes receiving an updated CSI decoder and updated CSI encoder from the base station for further training.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to updating control information based on medium sensing are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates with a second wireless communication device, a first transmission grant for a transmission opportunity (TXOP) in a frequency band. The first wireless communication device performs medium sensing for the TXOP. The performing the medium sensing includes detecting a reservation signal for the TXOP. The first wireless communication device transmits, to the second wireless communication device, an updated transmission grant for the TXOP based on at least the first transmission grant and the medium sensing. The first wireless communication device transmits, to the second wireless communication device in the frequency band, data during the TXOP based on the updated transmission grant.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) having partially coherent antennas may be configured for simultaneous transmissions on groups of antennas. To achieve the benefits of simultaneous transmissions using groups of antenna that are partially coherent, without having the transmissions affect each other, the UE may apply a hybrid closed-loop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme among each antenna in the antenna groups where phase coherence can be maintained Following the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, the UE may apply a transparent diversity scheme across each antenna of the groups. Alternatively, the UE may first apply the transparent diversity scheme and next apply the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme. By applying a hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, and a transparent diversity scheme, the UE may fully realize its resources and contribute to an improved spatial diversity for a MIMO system.

In some aspects, a base station may identify, during a connected mode or an idle mode of a user equipment, a set of synchronization signal block communications, wherein the set of synchronization signal block communications includes two or more synchronization signal block communications; and transmit, to a user equipment, the set of synchronization signal block communications using spatial multiplexing, wherein the set of synchronization signal block communications are each transmitted concurrently using different spatial resources associated with beam sweeping transmission.
