    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a wake up signal (WUS) within a WUS monitoring occasion (WMO) indicating to initiate a discontinuous reception (DRX) on-duration, a time to initiate the DRX on-duration being based at least in part on a timing of the WMO within a set of WMOs. The UE may receive a communication based at least in part on initiating the DRX on-duration at the time. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a grant scheduling repetition-based system information block transmissions for the UE, the grant indicating a mapping configuration identifying time-frequency resources for a second repetition of a system information block transmission relative to a first repetition of the system information block transmission. The UE may receive, in a first subset bandwidth of a system bandwidth, the first repetition of the system information block transmission according to the grant. The UE may receive, in a second subset bandwidth of the system bandwidth, the second repetition of the system information block transmission according to the grant and based at least in part on the mapping configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may account for jitter in communications with a user equipment (UE) by adjusting connected mode discontinuous reception (CDRX) configuration parameters for the UE based on estimated downlink traffic arrival times. For a downlink traffic burst, the network entity may estimate a traffic arrival offset based on determining a traffic periodicity, an estimated arrival time associated with one or more packets of a traffic burst, and at least one jitter parameter. The jitter parameter may represent an uncertainty in the arrival time of the traffic burst. The network entity may select a CDRX offset value based on the estimated traffic arrival offset. The network entity may transmit (e.g., to a UE, such as an extended reality (XR) device) a message indicating the CDRX offset value, for example, as part of a CDRX configuration.
