摘要: Techniques described herein provide for enhanced determination of a V2X communication range based on sensor information obtained at a V2X device. According to embodiments, a V2X device can obtain sensor information regarding a detected object and determine a communication range for a V2X message transmitted by the V2X device based on one or more detected properties of the detected object. The V2X message itself may contain information regarding the one or more detected properties of the detected object, as well as information indicative of the location of the V2X device and the determined communication range.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for directional quality of service (QoS) targets of a user equipment (UE) for directional communications to multiple UEs in multiple directions. An application layer of the UE may provide data with multiple different directional QoS targets, that may be mapped to multiple QoS data flows that are each configured with different directional QoS targets such as direction and priority associated with the direction. The data may be duplicated for each of the multiple QoS data flows having different QoS parameters, and each QoS data flow may be transmitted in a different direction using a different beam.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may monitor various sensors to obtain data associated with a user of the first UE, and may determine that the user is in a vulnerable state based on monitoring these sensors. The vulnerable state of the user may include an inebriated state, a distracted state, an impaired state, or a disabled state, among other examples. After detecting the vulnerable state of the user, the first UE may transmit a public safety message (PSM) to other devices in the area. Upon receiving the PSM from the UE, a network entity may use positioning information to identify other UEs within a threshold distance of the first UE, and may transmit an alert message to these UEs. The techniques described herein may reduce the probability of nearby pedestrians or vehicles colliding with the user.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless in-vehicle networking. A method that may be performed by a device in a vehicle includes wirelessly transmitting a data packet directly via a first device-to-device (D2D) communication link to another device in the vehicle; monitoring for an acknowledgment (ACK) of the data packet; deciding whether to retransmit the data packet to the other device, based on the monitoring; and wirelessly transmitting the data packet to a transmission relay, wherein an intended destination of the data packet is the other device, wherein the monitoring for the ACK comprises monitoring for a first ACK from the other device and a second ACK from the transmission relay.

The first safety message may be transmitted according to a first periodicity of a set of transmission periodicities for safety message transmissions. The UE may select a second periodicity of the set of transmission periodicities based on one or more environmental conditions associated with the UE. The UE may transmit a second safety message associated with the UE according to the second periodicity of the set of transmission periodicities based at least in part on selecting the second periodicity. The one or more environmental conditions may include topological information, road information, or visibility information. The UE may select the second periodicity based on one or more parameters associated with the UE.

摘要: Aspects relate to sidelink positioning using second stage sidelink control information (SCI-2). A first wireless communication device (e.g., first UE) may transmit SCI-2 including a sidelink positioning establishment message to establish a sidelink positioning session with at least a second wireless communication device (e.g., a second UE). Each of the first UE and second UE may then transmit positioning reference signals (PRSs) and generate and transmit sidelink positioning information based on the PRSs during the sidelink positioning session. The sidelink positioning information may further be transmitted via SCI-2.
