    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives a first control message indicating a codeblock group (CBG) scheduling configuration for scheduling CBG-based uplink communications, where the CBG scheduling configuration includes a first mapping configuration associated with uplink communications including a single codeword and a second mapping configuration associated with uplink communications including multiple codewords. The UE receives a second control message scheduling an uplink message including a set of CBGs, where the uplink message is associated with a first codeword, a second codeword, or both. The UE then transmits the uplink message in accordance with the CBG scheduling configuration, where the set of CBGs are mapped to one of the first or second codeword in accordance with the first mapping configuration, or where the set of CBGs are mapped to the first and second codewords in accordance with the second mapping configuration.

    Abstract: A UE may multiplex first UCI of a first priority with second UCI of a second priority. The first UCI may include at least one of a first modulation order or a first number of MIMO layers, and the second UCI may include at least one of a second modulation order or a second number of MIMO layers. The first modulation order of the first UCI may be greater than or equal to the second modulation order of the second UCI, and the first number of MIMO layers of the first UCI may be greater than or equal to the second number of MIMO layers of the second UCI. The UE may transmit, to a base station, an UL transmission including the first UCI of the first priority multiplexed with the second UCI of the second priority, where the second priority corresponds to a higher priority than the first priority.

    Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide generation of a set of orthogonal sequences for transmission of a signal including a payload using an orthogonal base sequence in a time domain. In one example, the orthogonal base sequence in the time domain may be a pi over 2 (pi/2) binary phase shift keying (BPSK) sequence in the time domain, such as prior to transform precoding for transmission. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide for the set of orthogonal sequences to be generated such that the set of orthogonal sequences are orthogonal within a symbol (e.g., an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbol) by applying an intra-symbol orthogonal cover code (OCC). Applying the intra-symbol OCC provides intra-symbol orthogonality. Thus, a peak to average power ratio of a user equipment is reduced for uplink transmissions and intra-symbol orthogonality is preserved.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first downlink control information (DCI) message from a base station on a first downlink control channel. The first DCI message may indicate a first set of transmission parameters. The UE may transmit a first uplink control information (UCI) message to the base station on an uplink control channel based on the first DCI message. The first UCI message may include feedback and a channel state information (CSI) report. The UE may receive a second DCI message from the base station on a second downlink channel based on the first UCI message. The second DCI message may indicate a second set of transmission parameters that are different than the first set of transmission parameters. The UE may communicate with the base station using the second set of transmission parameters indicated by the second DCI message.

A device may include an energy harvesting circuit configured to convert radio frequency energy associated with signals detected by the device to direct current (DC) energy for storage at the device. The device may additionally include a signal decoding circuit configured to decode the signals detected by the device to identify transmissions from other devices in the wireless communications system. The device may rely on power splitting or time switching to direct radio frequency energy to both the energy harvesting circuit and signal decoding circuit of the device. The device may employ various methods for channel estimation, channel reporting, and communications with another device based on utilizing power splitting or time switching to both perform energy harvesting and signal decoding.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support CSI age reporting. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless communication device, a message indicating channel state information (CSI) age reporting; transmitting, by the wireless communication device, a CSI report associated with a first window length and a second window length and indicating at least the second window length, wherein the first window length is associated with computing CSI before an uplink slot of the CSI report, and wherein the second window length is associated with a period of time for which the CSI report is valid.
