摘要: This invention discloses a method for controlling inter-frequency hard handoffs by using user equipment(UE) event-triggered reporting mode in a WCDMA system, being applicable to geographical cells covered by multiple frequency points. Its main technical feature is that the radio network controller (RNC), after receiving reported results from the UE, performs the decision and execution according to the specific events. This method has the advantages of a reasonable logic and high efficiency, being able to well ensure the realization of the inter-frequency handoffs required by a WCDMA system, improved communication quality, reduced transmission power of the UE, reduced interference to other cells, and increased system capacity, etc.

摘要: A bamboo scrimber includes a plurality of pressure-pressed bamboo strips impregnated with an adhesive and modified through heat-treatment. Each of the bamboo strips is formed with a plurality of slots penetrating through the bamboo strip substantially in a direction of thickness defined by the bamboo strip. A substantially longitudinal direction defined by the slots is substantially consistent with a substantially longitudinal direction defined by fibers of the bamboo strip.

摘要: The invention discloses a method (600) for use in a wireless communications system (100) in which there is at least one node (110-115) which controls the traffic to and from all user terminals (130) in a cell (120) within the system. In the system (100), use is made of the TDD principle for communication between said controlling node (110-115) and its user terminals (130), and according to the method (600), the controlling node transmits (610) a beacon signal for use as a signal quality indicator by the user terminals, said beacon signal being transmitted in a first TDD time slot (232). The user terminals (130) measure (620) the signal quality of the beacon signal and the signal quality in at least a second TDD time slot (234), and report (630) measurements of the signal qualities in both said first and second time slots to the controlling node.

摘要: A cable assembly (100), comprises a housing (10) formed by a base portion (101) having a first top surface (1011) and a mating portion (102) having a second top surface (1021), and the housing has a receiving space therein. A plurality of conductive contacts (311, 331) are retained in the housing. A cable (7) is entered into the receiving space and electrically connected with the conductive contacts. A pulling member (52) is moveable relative to the housing in a horizontal direction, and comprises a cooperating portion (524) at a front end thereof. And a latching member (51) is cooperated with the pulling member and assembled to the housing for latching with a complementary connector. The latching member comprises an engaging section (513) assembled to the housing, a latching section (515) disposed on the top of the base portion and an actuating section (5140) disposed between the engaging section and the latching section. The actuating section is interconnected with the cooperating portion and capable of being actuated by the cooperating portion of the pulling member.

摘要: Systems and methods of generating device commands based upon hand gesture commands are disclosed. An exemplary embodiment generates image information from a series of captured images, generates commands based upon hand gestures made by a user that emulate device commands generated by a remote control device, identifies a hand gesture made by the user from the received image information, determines a hand gesture command based upon the identified hand gesture, compares the determined hand gesture command with the plurality of predefined hand gesture commands to identify a corresponding matching hand gesture command from the plurality of predefined hand gesture commands, generates an emulated remote control device command based upon the identified matching hand gesture command, and controls the media device based upon the generated emulated remote control device command.

The insulative housing has a front face (11), a pair of side walls (13) each defining an opening (131), a pair of receiving spaces (12, 14) defined between the pair of side walls, and a partition (16) disposed between the pair of receiving spaces. The pair of latches are mounted in the openings and each formed with an engaging portion (75). The latch resiliently yields in the opening along a moving direction perpendicular to the mating direction to permit the engaging portion moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position.

摘要: An electrical connector assembly comprises a receptacle connector (100) and a plug connector (200) mating with the receptacle connector. The receptacle connector (100) has a receptacle housing (10) and a plurality of receptacle contacts (12) received in the receptacle housing, and the receptacle housing comprises a base portion (102) and an expansion portion (104) extending outwards from the base portion. Each user classification may be configurable to provide different interfaces, menus and available features to the users of the set-top box. Further, each user classification may include several sub-classifications to further personalize the set-top box to the various users of the system. Also, each user classification may also monitor the habits and usage of each class and store such information for use by the set-top box to suggest settings of the set-top box that the user may be interested in, such as a favorite channel list.
