摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide a pumping system and method including a flow locking feature. A pump controller includes a user interface configured to initially receive and set a plurality of programmed flow rate settings, a maximum locked flow rate, and a minimum locked flow rate. The pump controller is also configured to disable resetting of the maximum flow rate and the minimum flow rate once they are initially received and set and to allow resetting of the plurality of programmed flow rate settings throughout operation of the pumping system. The pump controller is further configured to operate a pump motor in order to maintain a first flow rate set by one of the plurality of programmed flow rate settings as long as the first flow rate is between the minimum locked flow rate and the maximum locked flow rate.

The discharge vacuum relief valve is capable of venting a vacuum at the discharge side of the safety vacuum release system pump during a vacuum event at a suction side of the safety vacuum release system pump.

摘要: A pumping system and method including a flow locking feature. A pump controller includes a user interface configured to initially receive and set a plurality of programmed flow rate settings, a maximum locked flow rate, and a minimum locked flow rate. The pump controller is also configured to disable resetting of the maximum flow rate and the minimum flow rate once they are initially received and set and to allow resetting of the plurality of programmed flow rate settings throughout operation of the pumping system. The pump controller is further configured to operate a pump motor in order to maintain a first flow rate set by one of the plurality of programmed flow rate settings as long as the first flow rate is between the minimum locked flow rate and the maximum locked flow rate.

摘要: A conductive sleeve is located around each of the filament supports of an incandescent lamp enclosed in a glass bulb. The sleeve is spaced from the support by an insulating spacer. The sleeve is connected to a ground so that if the bulb breaks liquid flowing into the bulb creates a conducting path between the filament supports and the ground. The sleeve has a generally hollow, cylindrical shape spaced and is positioned around the support.

摘要: A pool drain assembly for a swimming pool having a vinyl liner is disclosed. The assembly includes a drainage receptacle which has an upper edge portion substantially at a level defining the bottom of the swimming pool. The receptacle has a conically shaped seating surface, and the vinyl liner covers the surface. A clamping ring is seated on the seating surface and surrounds a strainer plate which also rests on a lower edge of the seating surface. The upper surfaces of the pool liner, the clamping ring, and the strainer plate are all substantially co-planer.

摘要: A modular prefabricated filter/circulating system for in-ground swimming pools is provided. The swimming pool circulation system which serves to filter and circulate pool water is designed to be prefabricated at the factory and carried to the swimming pool site as a package and installed on the swimming pool wall so that one side wall of the prefabricated package becomes an integral part of the swimming pool wall. The system is provided with a skimmer with streamlined faceplate, main drain, skimmer filter, main drain filter, skimmer throttle valve, quick connect from filter to pump and return, pump, automatic safety pump shutoff, high efficiency pool returns and automatic pool sweep pressure increase mechanism. The system is designed to avoid conventional piping and trenches therefor normally associated with conventional swimming pool filtration systems. The system affords substantial energy saving and is more reliable and safer. A distinct element employed in a preferred embodiment resides in a two-compartment filter unit that extends operating life by permitting the function of the first compartment filtration to be transferred to the other compartment when the first compartment is clogged.

摘要: A Flow control valve for a pump suction line permitting flow from an alternate source in the event of partial or complete blockage of a main source. The valve includes a valve housing having a main inlet port at one end, on auxiliary inlet port at its other end and a suction port between the inlet ports. Flow responsive valves are provided at the inlet ports and the valves are spring biased by springs which allow normal flow through the main inlet port. If the main inlet port is blocked the auxiliary port is opened. A flap valve is actuated by flow through the auxiliary port to close the auxiliary port and to create hydrostatic pressure between the blockage and the main inlet port to thereby dislodge the blockage.
