摘要： A biometrics authentication device utilizes biometrics information and performs individual authentication enables secure modification of authorization details for an authorized agent other than the principal. A verification device verifies biometrics information registered on an IC card against biometrics information detected by a detection unit. When results in satisfactory biometrics authentication, modification of authorization details of an authorized agent, registered on the IC card, is permitted. Authorization details for an authorized agent can be securely modified on a card on which biometrics information for the principal and the authorized agent is registered.

摘要： A method for designing a control apparatus includes: determining first, second and third threshold values; setting a first weighting function for calculating a first controlled variable by being multiplied by a difference between a control target value and an output value of a storage battery, a second weighting function for calculating a second controlled variable by being multiplied by the output value of the storage battery, and a third weighting function for calculating a third controlled variable by being multiplied by an integrated value of the output value of the storage battery; and determining a transfer function of the control apparatus in accordance with an H-infinity control theory such that the first controlled variable, the second controlled variable and the third controlled variable are respectively smaller than the first, second and third threshold values.

A biometrics authentication application is downloaded from a server to a mobile communication terminal, and an area for authenticated biometrics information is created. A user brings this mobile communication terminal to a service area and causes an image of his own biometrics information to be captured, and this biometrics data and an account number are stored in a common area of the mobile communication terminal. By this means, the mobile communication terminal has functions of an individual card storing biometrics information, and issuing of a card for use in biometrics authentication is completed.

摘要： In a navigation device for providing a guide from an origin to a destination, a display section displays a guide image indicating the guide to the destination. A state acquisition section acquires a state outside a vehicle. A photographed guide generation section generates a photographed guide image, using a photographed image of a captured forward direction of the vehicle. A map guide generation section generates a map guide image, using map information. Based on the state outside the vehicle acquired by the state acquisition section, a state determination section determines which one of the photographed guide image and the map guide image is to be displayed by priority. Based on the determination made by the state determination section, a guide display control section allows the guide image including at least one of the photographed guide image and the map guide image to be displayed in the display section.
