    Abstract: A cover window manufacturing system comprises a laser irradiation apparatus including a stage configured to receive a substrate. A first laser module is disposed above the stage to provide a first laser beam to a top surface of the substrate. A controller controls a position of a focal point of the first laser beam on the substrate. An etching apparatus includes a chamber having an etching solution disposed therein. The etching apparatus is configured to receive the substrate processed by the laser irradiation apparatus and etch the substrate processed by the laser irradiation apparatus by immersion in the etching solution.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display (“LCD”) includes a first color pixel area, a second color pixel area, and a first boundary area disposed between the first color pixel area and the second color pixel area is provided, the LCD including a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a first color filter disposed in the first color pixel area and the first boundary area on the first substrate, a second color filter disposed in the second color pixel area and the first boundary area on the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein a first overlapping portion where the first color filter overlaps the second color filter in the first boundary area is disposed closer to the second color pixel area than to the first color pixel area.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display is provided. A liquid crystal display includes: a first substrate; a thin film transistor disposed on the first substrate; and a first electrode disposed on the thin film transistor and connected to an output terminal of the thin film transistor, wherein the first electrode includes a first region and a second region each including a plurality of minute branches separated from each other by open parts, portions of at least two minute branches among the plurality of minute branches are connected to form a plurality of minute plate branches, and wherein the minute plate branch has a wider width than a minute branch.

    Abstract: A display device comprises: a display screen comprising a display surface that includes a display area and a non-display area; a charger disposed under the bottom surface of the display screen, the charger performing charging by using a magnetic field; and a panel protector disposed between the display screen and the charger, the panel protector comprising a magnetic field transmission part that overlaps with the display area in a plan view. When charging is performed through a charging area of the display area, an image is not displayed in the charging area.
