Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for handling synchronization of Home Network (HN) security key(s) in a wireless network. The proposed method includes receiving a Non-access stratum (NAS) authentication request message from a network entity (200A), where the UE (100A) holds a first Home network (HN) security key. Further, the method includes determining an authentication response message for the received NAS authentication request message and generating a second HN security key from a plurality of input parameters received in the NAS authentication request message and sending authentication response message to the network entity (200A). Further, the method includes storing the second HN security key in response to receiving a NAS security mode command message from the network entity (200A) or ignore the second HN security key in response to receiving a NAS reject message from the network entity (200A).

Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose UE based implementations to manage voice/video over new radio (VoNR)/EPSFB calls. In an embodiment, there can be a zero CQI reporting for indicating a signal deterioration during the VoNR call. In an embodiment, at least one of a Wi-Fi network or a dual SIM dual standby (DSDS) feature, a UE initiated fallback procedure and an internet bearer can be used for continuing the VoNR call. Various embodiments may reduce the call failures and manage calls on VoNR/5G which can be useful to the UE in volatile signal conditions.

Abstract: Embodiments herein provide methods and systems for performing paging operation in 5G communication networks. The 5G core network can transmit a NAS message to a UE through a N3GPP access network, if the UE is reachable through the N3GPP access network. The NAS message can be sent by the 5G core network to the N3IWF. The N3IWF can send the NAS message to the UE, through the N3GPP access network. The UE can send a service request over 3GPP access, in response to the NAS message, to the 5G core network, through a 5G RAN. If the UE is not having access to the 5G RAN, then the UE can transmit a notification response message to the 5G core network, indicating the inability to transmit a service request. The transmission of NAS message through the N3IWF can lead to a significant saving of radio resources.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Methods and systems for handling network slice admission control for User Equipment (UE) are provided. The disclosure relates to network slicing and more particularly, to a system and method of ensuring that a communication system is able to accurately enforce quota on the maximum number of UEs concurrently registering for a network slice defined by a Single Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (S-NSSAI). The disclosure describes how the limits of “Number of Terminals” configured for an S-NSSAI may be accurately maintained in a Network Slice Admission Control Function (NSACF), and thus the enforcement may be performed when the limit is really exhausted. The disclosure also describes that a deregistration notification from a Unified Data Management (UDM) may act as a trigger for an old Mobility Management Function (AMF) to decrement counts in the NSACF as the old AMF is no longer serving the UE.
