Abstract: The present subject matter refers to methods and systems for managing paging restriction in Multi SIM Multi Standby (MUSIM). Further, the method includes receiving (204), from the network entity, a request accept message including an indication of an implementation of a paging restriction between the network entity and the UE based on the paging restriction information included in the registration request message. Thereafter, the method includes transmitting, to the network entity, a release request message including information related to a release of the paging restriction for the UE when the UE intend to receive paging messages from the network entity. Moreover, in response to a reception of the release request message, the network entity releases the paging restriction for the UE.
