Abstract:
An electronic device and method are disclosed herein. The electronic device includes a sensor and a processor. The processor implements the method, including measuring infrared light corresponding to a user using the sensor, and detecting biometric information of the user if the infrared information satisfies a predetermined condition.
Abstract:
A display apparatus of the disclosure includes a reflection module; a camera configured to capture a first image in a first position located at the rear of the reflection module and capture a second image in a second position exposed to the outside of the display apparatus; a driver configured to move at least one of the camera and the reflection module; a controller configured to determine the presence of a user based on the first image captured by the camera in the first position, and to control the driver to move at least one of the camera and the reflection module so that the camera is located in the second position, based on the determination that the user is present; and an inputter configured to receive a user input.
Abstract:
An ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna for wireless communication in proximity to a human body and between devices having no line-of-sight, includes symmetrical radiators disposed on a side of a dielectric layer, and a differential microstrip feeding line disposed on the side and an opposite side of the dielectric layer. The UWB antenna further includes a top dielectric layer disposed over the side of the dielectric layer, a bottom dielectric layer disposed over the opposite side of the dielectric layer, and a top connecting plate disposed on an outer surface of the top dielectric layer. The UWB antenna further includes a bottom connecting plate disposed on an outer surface of the bottom dielectric layer, and an inter-layer connector configured to connect ends of each of the symmetrical radiators to the top connecting plate and the bottom connecting plate, respectively.
Abstract:
A hearing loss compensation apparatus includes a filter bank control unit configured control a plurality of filter banks to separate an input signal into frequency bands; and a signal output unit configured to amplify the input signal separated into frequency bands according to a control parameter based on characteristics of a hearing loss patient, and output the amplified input signal.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes: a display module including a display panel and a display case supporting the display panel and including a locking portion; and a support device supporting a rear of the display module and configured to enable pivot rotation of the display module, wherein the support device includes: a support arm configured to be rotatably coupled to a support object and enable the display module to move between a first position and a second position at a lower height than the first position, and a locking member inserted into the locking portion and configured to lock the pivot rotation of the display module when the display module is in the second position.
