    Abstract: Provided is a microfluidic apparatus that is mounted on a rotation driver and induces a flow of a fluid due to a centrifugal force, the microfluidic apparatus including: a separation unit that separates a target cell from a sample; a recovery chamber that is connected to the separation unit through a recovery channel and accommodates the target cell obtained by the separation; and an inclined portion that is disposed in the recovery chamber and tilted toward a bottom of the recovery chamber along a direction of the centrifugal force.

    Abstract: A microfluidic apparatus mounted on a rotation driving unit for inducing a fluid to flow due to a centrifugal force includes: a target chamber that houses a first fluid; a first chamber that houses a second fluid and is disposed closer to a rotation center of the microfluidic apparatus in a radius direction than the target chamber, the first chamber being connected to the target chamber by a first channel; a first valve that prevents a flow of the second fluid through the first channel; and a second chamber disposed closer to the rotation center in the radius direction than the target chamber and connected to the target chamber by a second channel, wherein the first fluid is transported to the second chamber by supplying the second fluid to the target chamber by the centrifugal force.

    Abstract: A photocleavable polymer comprising a photocleavable linker and a polymer having a functional group that binds to a protein, lipid, sugar of a cell, or any combination thereof, as well as a method of selectively lysing cells by incubating a sample comprising two or more cells with the photocleavable polymer to reversibly fix the cells; selectively irradiating the fixed cells or a target or non-target cell among the fixed cells to cleave the photocleavable polymer; and adding a cell lysis solution to selectively lyse the irradiated cells.
