    摘要: A multi-level information recording-reproducing apparatus can accurately determine multi-level information even if recording density is increased. A multi-level information recording-reproducing apparatus radiates a laser beam to an information recording medium by switching a radiation energy level of the laser beam in a multi-level fashion and records a recorded mark in the information recording medium. The multi-level information recording-reproducing apparatus reproduces a multi-level data sequence recorded as a test pattern in the information recording medium, sets a reproduction signal level of a recorded mark based on an immediately-before cell located immediately before a cell to be reproduced, and corrects the radiation energy level of the laser beam so that the reproduction signal level can have a separate distribution from a distribution of another reproduction signal level.

    摘要: The invention provides an optical information recording medium capable of optionally setting the capacitance of the ROM and keeping the physical continuousness in the ROM track and the RAM track. The medium is the optical information recording medium in the land/groove recording system in which the information is recorded both in the convex groove track called land L and in the concave groove track called groove G, and it includes commonly in a sheet of medium a ROM area constructed with the pre-pit row previously formed on the basic substrate and a RAM area capable of being additionally written by the user. The track pitch of the pre-pit row in the ROM area is equal to that of the groove. The RAM area exists on the plain portion between the just adjacent pre-pit rows in the ROM area and on both portions of the land and the groove.

    摘要: A scroll compressor includes stationary and orbiting scroll members in engagement with each other. The stationary scroll member includes a stationary end plate having first and second end surfaces opposite to each other, a stationary scroll wrap protruding axially from the first end surface of the stationary end plate, a discharge port defined in the stationary end plate in the proximity of a center thereof, and a recess defined in the stationary end plate on the second surface thereof. A check valve is received in the recess so as to open or close the discharge port. The recess has a shape substantially identical to the shape of the check valve and also has a depth greater than a maximum lift of the check valve.
