    摘要: The present invention provides: a protein having a fructosyl amino acid oxidase activity which protein is useful for measurement of a glycosylated protein (particularly, glycosylated hemoglobin); a modified protein thereof; and use of the protein or the modified protein. The protein of the present invention is, for example, a fructosyl valyl histidine oxidase derived from Phaeosphaeria nodorum, the fructosyl valyl histidine oxidase having excellent thermal stability and substrate specificity and also having a small Km value to fructosyl valyl histidine. This allows a glycosylated protein measuring reagent to be stored in a long time and measurement accuracy of the glycosylated protein measuring reagent to be improved.

    摘要: In an oil-free roller chain, the inner faces of the outer link plates have recesses that receive the ends of bushings, and the inner faces of the inner link plates have recesses that receive the ends of rollers surrounding the bushings. Each such recess is formed by punching, so that the outer surface of each plate has a bulged portion opposite each recess. The diameters of the bulged portions are greater than the diameters of the corresponding recesses. The bushing can have an oil passage located midway between its ends and serving as an oil reservoir supplying oil to the gap between the bushing and the roller and between the bushing and a connecting pin.

    摘要: In an oil-free roller chain rollerless bushing, bushing protrude outward past the inner link plates and are received in supporting bores formed in the inner faces of the outer link plates, the bores being coaxial with the holes in which the connecting pins of the chain are press-fit. The relationship between the protruding parts of the bushings and the supporting bores establishes a labyrinth that resists leakage of lubricating oil from the space between the pin and the interior of the bushing. The mutually facing overlapping faces of the plates of the chain are have roughened surfaces that also form a labyrinth structure that further resists oil leakage. A groove formed in the connecting pin allows for an increased supply of sealed lubricating oil.

    摘要: An optical bus system comprising an optical bus is furnished, along two opposed edges, with a plurality of signal light input/output portions for inputting and outputting signal light to and from the bus. Any one of the signal light input/output portions on one edge of the bus inputs signal light thereto and propagates the light to the opposite edge at which another signal light input/output portion outputs the propagated signal light from the bus. The system also comprises a plurality of light emitting/receiving circuits corresponding to the signal light input/output portions. Each light emitting/receiving circuit has a signal light sending unit and a signal light receiving unit. The signal light sending unit generates signal light and sends the generated signal light into the optical bus through the corresponding signal light input/output portion. The signal light receiving unit acquires a received light signal upon receipt of the signal light output by the corresponding signal light input/output portion. At least one of the light receiving/emitting circuits on each edge of the optical bus has a repeating or reflecting part that causes the corresponding signal light sending unit to send out the signal light received by the corresponding signal light receiving unit.

    摘要: When recording a recorded signal consisting of “01011001110” in a magnetooptical recording medium, (1,1) corresponding to a domain of 2T is converted to (1,0,1), and (0,0) is converted to (0,1,0) in the recorded signal. In other words, the first “1” of (1,1) is converted to unit bits “1,0” and the first “0” of (0,0) is converted to unit bits “0,1”. Similarly, the first “1” of (1,1,1) corresponding to a domain of 3T is converted to unit bits “1,0”, and the second “1” is converted to unit bits “1,0”. “1” or “0” of the final unit bit is not converted but recorded as such. Consequently, a signal can be correctly reproduced by extension ally transferring domains having different domain lengths from a recording layer to a reproducing layer under the same reproducing conditions.
