    摘要: The invention relates to a known method for the production of a cylinder from quartz glass, comprising a step, wherein an SiO2 body which comprises a porous SiO2 soot layer and has a lower end, an upper end, and an outer casing, is sintered to form said quartz glass cylinder in a vitrification furnace, and is being held in a vertical orientation by means of a retaining device, which comprises an upper retaining element connected at the upper end of the SiO2 body, and a lower retaining element disposed on the lower end. In order to provide a method based thereon, by means of which even heavy bodies made of porous SiO2 can be safely retained during vitrification, the invention provides that the retaining device has a dimensionally stable connecting part, which extends inside the vitrification furnace along the outer casing of the SiO2 body and which connects the upper and the lower retaining elements to each other.

    摘要: A method for the provision of a recallable hair transformation using shape-memory polymers is disclosed. In this respect a composition which comprises a macromer or prepolymer which is cross-linkable to a shape-memory polymer is applied onto the hair and the hair is brought into a defined (permanent) shape and subsequently the permanent shape is fixed by means of the chemical cross-linking of the macromer or prepolymer under formation of the shape-memory polymer. The macromer or prepolymer contains segments which are cross-linkable by means of chemical bonds as well as thermoplastic segments which are not chemically cross-linkable. The shape-memory polymers do possess at least one transition temperature TTrans. In addition to the permanent shape of a hairdo a second (temporary) shape can be impressed. Furthermore, disclosed is a method for the recovery of a previously programmed, permanent shape of a hairdo, which has been temporarily brought into a temporary form or which has been deformed in a different manner.

    摘要: In a known method for producing a dimensionally stable semi-finished product for use in producing fibers from synthetic quartz glass, an SiO2 soot layer is applied to the outer wall of a quartz glass inner cylinder and is subjected to a sintering treatment, wherein a sintering zone moves through the SiO2 soot layer from the outside to the inside. In order to achieve dimensionally accurate and low-deformation production as well as high cost efficiency based on said known method, it is proposed that the sintering treatment be interrupted before the sintering zone reaches the outer wall of the inner cylinder so that an intermediate layer made of synthetic quartz glass containing pores remains at the inner cylinder outer wall. The semi-finished product obtained in such a way is elongated into the optical component, wherein the intermediate layer sinters completely into transparent quartz glass.
