    摘要： The degree of freedom in design is increased while maintaining strength by enabling a decorative member to be disposed without thinning a wheel main body.A wheel is made up of a wheel main body 1 which is made up of a rim portion 10 and a disc portion 11 and which has a vent hole 141 in the disc portion 11 and a decorative member 2 made from a resin which is held in at least the disc portion 11 and is observed from the vent hole 141. Since the decorative member 2 is observed in the vent hole 141, the wheel main body 1 including spoke portions 14 does not have to be thinned. In addition, since the design of the decorative member is observed in cooperation with the design of the disc portion 11, the degree of freedom in design is increased.

    摘要： A flat flexible cable connector (10) has a housing (31) with an insertion opening (33) in its front face. Two lengths of flexible cable (51a, 51b) are placed end to end and are inserted into the opening. The connector has terminals (41) with top and bottom opposing contact portions (43a, 44a) which are aligned with the exposed conductive leads on the two lengths of flexible cables. A moveable actuator (11) applies pressure to the terminal contact portions to effect a reliable connection between the flexible cables.

    摘要： The present invention provides novel N-benzyldioxothiazolidylbenzamide derivatives that improve the insulin resistance and have potent hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering effects and processes for preparing the same, and relates to N-benzyldioxothiazolidylbenzamide derivatives characterized by being represented by a general formula (1) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 denote identically or differently hydrogen atoms, lower alkyl groups with carbon atoms of 1 to 4, lower alkoxy groups with carbon atoms of 1 to 3, lower haloalkyl groups with carbon atoms of 1 to 3, lower haloalkoxy groups with carbon atoms of 1 to 3, halogen atoms, hydroxyl groups, nitro groups, amino groups which may be substituted with lower alkyl group(s) with carbon atoms of 1 to 3 or hetero rings, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 link to form a methylenedioxy group, R.sup.3 denotes a lower alkoxy group with carbon atoms of 1 to 3, hydroxyl group or halogen atom, and dotted line indicates double bond or single bond in combination with solid line, and processes for preparing the same.

    摘要： A cooking apparatus for heating food to be served and capable of being operated with utmost simplicity without using and choosing various cooking-mode selection keys so as to achieve superb ease-of-operation. The cooking apparatus includes a cooking chamber for placing and storing food to be heated by the apparatus and a detector for detecting a state of a door attached to the cooking chamber, the door being freely openable and closable against an opening portion of the cooking chamber. An optical sensor, having a plurality of light emitting portions is disposed in a side of the cooking chamber and a plurality of light receiving portions are disposed counter to the light emitting portions. A drive unit is provided for driving the optical sensor and a judgement unit verifies and determines a cooking mode suitable for the food placed in the cooking chamber responsive to a signal from the optical sensor, where the drive unit is activated when the detector detects that the door is closed.
