摘要: A network node of a mobile communications network may need to generate at least one new Input Offset Value, IOV value, for use in protecting communications between the network node and a mobile station. The network node then associates a fresh counter value with the or each new IOV value; calculates a Message Authentication Code based on at least the at least one new IOV value, the fresh counter value associated with the or each new IOV value, and a constant indicating that the Message Authentication Code is calculated to protect the new IOV value; and transmits the at least one new IOV value, the fresh counter value associated with the or each new IOV value, and the calculated Message Authentication Code to the mobile station.

According to an embodiment, a subscriber management node determines multiple first parameters which are provided from one or more servers and indicate requirements for monitoring a same terminal device. The subscriber management node determines, based on the multiple first parameters, a second parameter which is to be applied to the same terminal device to satisfy the requirements indicated by the multiple first parameters.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method, an apparatus for a synchronization of a status of a QoS flow in a communication system. A method is performed at a terminal device, for a synchronization of a status of a quality of service, QoS, flow in a communication system. The method comprises: deleting (S101) the QoS flow locally; marking (S102) a status of the QoS flow as being deleted and not synchronized; and transmitting (S103) a protocol data unit, PDU, session modification request to synchronize the status of the QoS flow. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, when the status of the QoS Flow is changed by one of the terminal device or the network side in some scenarios, the status of the QoS Flow can still be synchronized.

摘要: According to certain embodiments, a method (400) by user equipment (UE) (300) is provided for avoiding bearer state mismatch that includes storing, by the UE, a passive context for use in resuming a connection with a network node (600). While the UE is in an inactive state, the UE locally deactivates at least one radio bearer. The UE signals, to the network node, an indication that the at least one radio bearer has been deactivated locally and the network node consequently modifies the stored bearer context.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method for operating a radio access network (RAN) node of a wireless communication network. The method comprises: receiving a connection resume request message from a wireless terminal at the RAN node instructing the RAN node to establish a connection with the wireless terminal; providing release information for the wireless terminal at the RAN node; determining a state of a reachability request parameter at the RAN node; receiving uplink data from the wireless terminal at the RAN node, wherein the uplink data is associated with the connection resume request message; and transmitting a connection release message to the wireless terminal after receiving the uplink data responsive to the release information for the wireless terminal and determining the state of a reachability request parameter at the RAN node, wherein responsive to the state of the reachability request parameter at the RAN node having a first state, instructing the RAN node to not immediately transmit a connection release message to release and/or suspend the connection with the wireless terminal.
