    摘要: Two physical layer user terminal capability alternatives are introduced for device-to-device discovery for FDD mode terminals: a full discovery physical layer capability, and a partial discovery physical layer capability. The full discovery physical layer capability corresponds to an alternative where a discovery-capable user terminal has a capability to perform both Discovery_Scan (on an uplink band) and Discovery_Tx (on a downlink band) operations. A Discovery_Tx operation corresponds to transmission of a discovery signal to another user terminal directly over the air. A Discovery_Scan operation corresponds to reception of the discovery signal from another user terminal directly over the air. The partial discovery physical layer capability corresponds to an alternative where the discovery-capable terminal has a capability to perform either Discovery_Scan operation (on the downlink band) or Discovery_Tx (on the uplink band) operation (or both).

    摘要: A mechanism for configuring stations for reference signalling is disclosed. A first station defines a pattern of configuration indications for use in reference signalling and communicates information of the pattern of configuration indications to at least one second station for configuring the at least one second station for reference signalling. After receiving the information of the pattern a second station can obtain information of subframes that associate with reference signalling there from. Upon detection of a trigger by the first station for transmission of a reference signal the second station can be configured for transmission of the reference signal based on the information obtained from the pattern.

An apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive control and data signal; a transmitter configured to transmit control information on an uplink channel wherein a number of uplink control channel indexes corresponding to the number of control channel elements as on the downlink control channel is available, the transmission requiring more than one uplink channel index; and a controller. If one control channel index is available, the controller is configured to control the transmission of control information to utilise the uplink control channel index and control the transmission of control information related to a second control channel index based on a separate channel or adjusting transmission properties when transmitting the control information.

    摘要: A method is disclosed for scheduling packet data in a communications system. The method includes configuring, in a network apparatus, semi-persistent transmission resources to a user equipment via higher layer signalling, wherein the configuring step includes pre-allocating a data transmission resource and assigning a scheduling request resource to the user equipment. A confirmation message is transmitted to the user equipment from the network apparatus, wherein the confirmation message informs the user equipment that the user equipment is able to start transmitting data on a physical uplink shared channel PUSCH to the network apparatus by using the pre-allocated data transmission resource and a pre-configured transmission format, wherein the pre-allocated data transmission resource is linked to the corresponding confirmation message, the corresponding confirmation message being linked to the corresponding semi-persistently assigned scheduling request resource.
