Abstract:
According to some embodiments, a method for use in a user equipment (UE) operable to transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) on a plurality of carriers comprises: obtaining an indication to perform SRS carrier-based switching for a carrier; adapting a parameter for uplink transmit power control in response to the obtained indication; and transmitting an uplink signal using the adapted parameter while meeting at least one predetermined uplink power control requirement. According to some embodiments, a method for use in a network node operable to receive a SRS on a plurality of carriers comprises: sending, to a UE, an indication to perform SRS carrier-based switching for a carrier; and receiving, from the UE, an uplink signal based on the parameter for uplink transmit power control adapted in response to the sent indication, wherein the uplink signal meets at least one uplink power control requirement.
Abstract:
A sensor system for detecting a property of or within an absorbent article. The system may comprise a first sensor and a first transmitter. The sensor may be disposed in or on the absorbent article. The sensor may have a first status and may be capable of changing to a second status. The first transmitter may be capable of sensing a change in status of the sensor from the first status to the second status. The first transmitter may be capable of checking the status of the sensor noncontinuously. The first transmitter may programmed to check the status of the first sensor at least every 5 minutes but not longer than every 2 hours.
Abstract:
A user equipment receives, from the base station apparatus, bit information. The bit information indicates first information indicating one or more antenna ports and second information indicating a number of layers for downlink data symbols.
Abstract:
A terminal apparatus and retransmission control method reduces overhead of the uplink control channel in cases when ARQ is applied in communication that uses an uplink unit band and a plurality of downlink unit bands associated with the uplink unit band. A first condition is set in which downlink assignment control information is transmitted from a base station by a unit band group which comprises a basic unit band, which is the downlink unit band on which a broadcast channel signal including information relating to the uplink unit band is transmitted, and a second downlink unit band other than the basic unit band. A bundling unit will not transmit a response signal to the base station in certain cases.
Abstract:
Embodiments described herein relate generally to a communication between a user equipment (UE) and an evolved Node B (eNB) that are both running in Enhanced Coverage (EC) mode. The UE and eNB may communicate in a contention-based random access procedure having an EC level that may be used to determine the number of times an RA preamble may be sent, and one or more RA response opportunity windows that may be used to receive one or more RA responses. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices are described for adjusting at least one channel parameter based on accessed historical channel information associated with mobility patterns of a mobile device. In some examples, a mobile device or a base station may access historical channel information associated with mobility patterns of the mobile device or another mobile device. The mobility patterns may include information relative to a particular time and location of a mobile device, a previously traveled route by a mobile device, etc. Based on the historical channel information associated with the mobility patterns, the mobile device or the base station may adjust a channel parameter to improve communication performance across the particular channel.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods, systems, devices and articles, including a method for adaptive wireless communication transmissions between units of an ambulatory portable medical device. The method includes obtaining data relating to wireless transmissions between the units of the medical device, and setting one or more attributes of wireless transmission of one or more messages between the units of the medical device based, at least in part, on the obtained data.

Abstract:
A User Equipment (UE) is described. The UE decodes an uplink/downlink (UL/DL) reconfiguration downlink control information (DCI) with an enhanced interference mitigation with traffic adaptation (eIMTA)-radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE also determines if one or more valid UL/DL configurations in the UL/DL reconfiguration DCI with eIMTA-RNTI for all configured eIMTA cells are received. The UE further determines if physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format 3 is configured. The UE additionally determines a PUCCH resource for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) reporting based on whether valid UL/DL configurations in the UL/DL reconfiguration DCI with eIMTA-RNTI for all of the configured eIMTA cells corresponding to a subframe for the PUCCH resource are received. The UE also sends PDSCH HARQ-ACK information on the selected PUCCH resource in an uplink subframe.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a system for controlling a carrier Power Amplifier (PA) of a Base Station (BS) in a network communication field are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining power control information of the carrier PA at a next timeslot; and adjusting working voltage of the carrier PA at the next timeslot according to the power control information. An apparatus and a system for controlling a carrier PA of a BS are also disclosed. The method, apparatus, and system can reduce energy consumption of the BS and improve energy efficiency of the BS.
