    摘要: Polydiorganosiloxane-polycarbonate block copolymers based on dihydrodiphenylcycloalkanes corresponding to formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2 independently of one another represent hydrogen, halogen, preferably chlorine or bromine, C.sub.1-8 alkyl, C.sub.5-6 cycloalkyl, C.sub.6-10 aryl and C.sub.7-12 aralkyl, preferably phenyl-C.sub.1-4 -alkyl, more especially benzyl,n=2 or 3 andthe substituents R.sup.5 independently of one another are hydrogen or C.sub.1-12 alkyl, with the proviso that at least one of the substituents R.sup.5 is not hydrogen,having an average molecular weight M.sub.w (weight average) in the range from 10,000 to 300,000 (as measured by ultracentrifugation or scattered light measurement) and a content of carbonate containing dihydroxydiphenylcycloalkanes of formula I and, optionally, other diphenols in co-condensed form of from 75% by weight of 99.0% by weight and a content of polydiorganosiloxane having a degree of polymerization Pn of 5 to 300 of from 25% by weight of 1% by weight.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for working up a mixture which contains esters of EPA and/or DHA with monohydric alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, esters of other fatty acids with monohydric alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and free cholesterol, wherein the method comprises adding a transesterification catalyst to the mixture, converting at least some of the free cholesterol into esterified cholesterol and thereafter distilling the mixture, wherein the distillation is carried out in such a manner that a product is obtained which contains EPA and/or DHA, both in the form of esters thereof with monohydric alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, in a higher relative amount, based on all fatty acids in free or bound form present in the product, than said mixture. In addition, the present invention relates to a product which is obtainable by the method according to the invention, wherein the product contains 10 to 99.99% by weight of esters of EPA and/or of DHA with monohydric alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and 0.0001 to a maximum of 0.3 % by weight of cholesterol in free or bound form.

    摘要: The invention relates to a wet grinding method for producing sterol formulations having good wettability. According to said method, a) an additive selected from the group constituted by proteins, proteinaceous adjuvants, carbohydrates, cellulose derivatives, sugar alcohols, fruit concentrates and vegetable concentrates is dissolved or dispersed in water or in an aqueous suspension medium, b) sterol and/or stanol particles having a medium particle size of at least 1 mm are added to this solution/dispersion, c) the dispersion thus obtained is homogenized and size-reduced in a mill that works according to the rotor/stator principle, and d) is then optionally dried, with the proviso that the sterol and/or stanol particles are present in the final formulation with a particle size distribution of D90% of not more than 50 μm. Owing to their good wettability, the sterol-containing formulations produced according to this method can be incorporated into food items without complex technology and have good organoleptic and sensory properties especially when used in drinks and dairy products.

    摘要: The invention relates to a powder formulation containing sterol in the form of a super-cooled melt from sterols and sterol esters, provided that the sterol ester content is at least 30 wt % in relation to the content of the powder. The introduced sterol ester is a fatty acid ester having a chain length of 2 to 24, preferably 8 to 12 carbon atoms. As the sterol preparations are wettable and melt easily without the use of complex equipment, they can easily be incorporated into food, and produce, in particular, good organoleptic and sensory properties, in particular, in drinks.

According to said method, a) micronized sterol and/or stanol particles are provided in a mixer, b) the micronized sterol and/or stanol particles are wetted with a proteinaceous aqueous solution/dispersion, c) the wetted particles are mixed well and then dried, and d) the dried mixture is optionally size-reduced in a mill. Owing to their good wettability, the sterol-containing formulations produced according to this method can be incorporated into food items without technical complications and have good organoleptic and sensory properties especially when used in drinks and dairy products.
