摘要: A method of characterizing a digital image, in which a point of interest (PI) in the detected in the image. For each θ of a plurality I of different prescribed orientations in the digital image a family {fθ(k)(n)}1≦K≦K of K one-dimensional lines fθ(k)(n) of points is extracted from a region (RPI) of the image along K straight lines of orientation (θ), and for each line fθ(k)(n) and for each sub-sampling level s, a foveal energy signal Eθ,s(k)(n) is calculated using foveal wavelets. The signals Eθ,s(k)(n)) on the K lines and their arguments n are used to calculate a foveal signature SI characterizing the working region.

摘要: A method for registering a device in a wireless network comprising a central controller. The method includes the step of asking a user whether he wants to install a new network or install a device on the network. In the case of installing a new network, the user enters a PIN code, an authentication key of the new network is generated and the device becomes the central controller. In the case of installing the device on an existing network, the user enters a PIN code, and upon authorization, receives an authentication key of the network for use in authenticating procedures with the central controller.

摘要: A method of processing seismic data comprises identifying the value of a first parameter associated with an event in a first set of seismic data. The value of a second parameter associated with a corresponding event in a second sent of seismic data is then obtained using at least one look-up table. The first parameter may be PP travel time with the first data set being a raw PP data set, and the second parameter may be PS travel time with the second data set being a raw PS data set or reflection depth. The invention makes it possible to identify pairs of corresponding PP and PS events in raw data traces. The look-up table(s) are obtained using an assumed model for the velocity of propagation of acoustic energy within the earth. The results of the method may be used in quality control, or to correct the velocity model.

摘要: A method for accessing a non volatile memory device including at least one group or sector of memory cells divided into regions programmable with two different data storage densities and accessible with at least two reading modes, for example a two-level mode and a multilevel mode. The memory regions are being organized into pages including a sub-group of memory cells for storing error correction codes of the data stored in the multilevel mode. The method includes providing at the beginning of each page at least one first cell wherein the information concerning the ECC protection or not of the whole page is to be stored. In the sub-group of cells at least one second cell intended for the storage of information concerning the programmed or erased state of the same page is provided. The content of the first and of the second cell is read before accessing, in programming, the corresponding page of the memory region.

摘要: The present invention proposes a method and a device for improving the relevance of images shown to a user during an image search phase in an indexing engine. The method includes firstly a step of evaluation by a user of the method or the device of the relevance or the irrelevance followed by a step of associating a relevance value with each of the images declared relevant (or irrelevant), creating an influence zone (or influence field) around the image concerned, all these fields then being accumulated. The images finally shown to the user are those having the highest relevance values.
