    摘要: An antenna device having two resonance frequencies wherein two radiating patches are respectively provided on one surface and on the other surface of a dielectric plate which is disposed above a ground plate with a space interposed therebetween. A coupling control capacitor element is connected between these two radiating patches and resonance control capacitor elements are connected between the radiating patches and the ground plate, respectively. Capacitance of the coupling control capacitor element is selected such that a current coupled from one of the two radiating patches to the other and a current supplied from the said one of the radiating patches to the other via the coupling control capacitor element are in opposite phase at the other one of the radiating patches.

    摘要: A joint signal detection and channel parameter estimation scheme is provided for multiple subcarrier signaling with pilot symbol-assisted modulation schemes. Known symbols located in the subcarriers are used to estimate a pair of parameters associated with the generation process of the fading frequency selectivity common to all of the subcarriers. These known symbol estimates are used to derive parameter pair estimates for unknown symbols located in the subcarriers. This parameter estimation thus effectively extracts information regarding the fading frequency selectivity through the pilot symbols received not only by the subcarrier of interest but by other subcarriers as well. The fading complex envelope with each subcarrier is then derived from the estimates of the parameter pair.

    摘要: For the transmission of variable length coded data blocks, a threshold arithmetic calculation circuit (9) obtains a threshold from an average of the bit lengths of the variable length coded data blocks for each group of such block, and the judgment circuit (10) makes a judgment as to whether or not those variable length coded data blocks have bit lengths exceeding the threshold of the block group to which such data blocks belong. Then, a block divider circuit 11 divides the variable length coded data blocks having bit lengths exceeding the threshold into blocks having small bit lengths. Each block thus obtained is fixedly equalized in bit length to an average length level and transmitted in that condition.

    摘要: A transmission power control method in a mobile satellite communication system implementing accurate control of transmission power of a base station by obtaining an average received signal level at a mobile station at high accuracy. The mobile station measures an average received signal level Q.sub.k in a predetermined period (step SP2), and informs the base station of the average received signal level Q.sub.k and an actual measuring time T.sub.k (step SP3). The base station calculates a total measuring time t.sub.k which is the sum total of the actual measuring time T.sub.k (step SP16), a corrected average received signal level R.sub.k associated with the average received signal level during the total measuring time t.sub.k (step SP18), and a measuring error .DELTA.D.sub.k (step SP17), and controls the transmission power on the basis of these values (step SP21). Estimating the measuring error .DELTA.D.sub.k in the total measuring time t.sub.k longer than the individual actual measuring time T.sub.k makes it possible to reduce the measuring error, thereby implementing highly accurate transmission power control.
