摘要: A ligation clip applier is provided. The clip applier includes: a pair of jaws; a distal clevis tube to which the jaws are pivotally mounted; a proximal clevis tube located behind the distal clevis tube, wherein the distal clevis tube and the proximal clevis tubes move axially with respect to each other; a clip lock actuator fixed to one of the proximal and distal clevis tubes; and a distal pushrod extending through the distal and proximal clevis tubes and forming a camming connection with the jaws configured to close and move the jaws toward a proximal direction toward the clip lock actuator when the distal pushrod is moved in the proximal direction. A method for applying a clip on a vessel is disclosed.

摘要: An apparatus for application of surgical clips to body tissue is provided and includes a handle assembly; a shaft assembly including a housing extending distally from the handle assembly and defining a longitudinal axis; a plurality of surgical clips disposed within the shaft assembly; a jaw mounted adjacent a distal end portion of the shaft assembly, the jaw being movable between an open spaced-apart condition and a closed approximated condition; and a pusher bar reciprocally disposed within the housing of the shaft assembly and being detachably connectable to the housing of the shaft assembly, the pusher bar being configured to load a distal-most surgical clip into the jaws during distal movement and remain connected to the housing of the shaft assembly and in a distally advanced position during an approximation of the jaws.

摘要: An endo-therapy product system includes an introduction device led into a body cavity, a treatment device and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a treatment device accommodating portion in which the treatment device is accommodated. The treatment device accommodating portion includes a coupling member accommodating portion which accommodates a coupling member of the treatment device and a treatment device main body accommodating portion which accommodates a treatment device main body. The coupling member accommodating portion prevents a connecting portion of the introduction device from being engaged with an engagement portion at a proximal end of the coupling member. The treatment device main body accommodating portion is provided on a distal end side of the coupling member accommodating portion, has the treatment device main body arranged therein, and includes an engagement allowing portion which allows engagement when engaging the connecting portion of the introduction device with the engagement portion of the coupling member.

摘要: A surgical clip applier includes a handle assembly, a first clip assembly, and a second clip assembly. The first clip assembly is adapted to receive only a single clip while the second clip assembly is adapted to receive multiple clips. The handle assembly is sized and configured to receive the first clip assembly or the second clip assembly. A jaw assembly includes a pair of jaws each with an elongate support arm, and a bridge holding the jaws in an aligned relationship. A housing has a fixed relationship with the bridge while permitting movement of the jaws between an open and a closed state. A coupling attaches the housing to the handle assembly. An associated method of operation includes the step of removing one of the single clip jaw assembly and the multiple clip-jaw assembly, disposing of the one jaw assembly while mounting the other jaw assembly on the handle.

A mother-infant identification method making use of a double umbilical device is also described.

摘要: A clipping instrument for an endoscope is provided. The clipping instrument includes a flexible sheath, an operation wire, at least one detachable clip assembly, including a pair of openable and closable clipping arms and a fastening ring, the clipping arms being configured to be projected forward to open and to be closed according to forwarding and retracting movements of the fastening ring through the operation wire, a withdrawal stopper and an advancement stopper, which are provided in the vicinity of the distal end portion of the flexible sheath. The withdrawal stopper restricts the fastening ring from being retracted rearward into the withdrawal stopper once the fastening ring is forwarded to penetrate through the withdrawal stopper. The advancement stopper restricts the fastening ring from being forwarded further to penetrate out of the advancement stopper once the fastening ring is forwarded to penetrate through the withdrawal stopper.

Another exemplary surgical endocutter may include a feeder belt; staples frangibly connected to the feeder belt; and at least one wedge movable relative to the staples in a direction substantially longitudinal relative to the feeder belt; wherein at least one wedge both directly engages a plurality of staples and disconnects a plurality of staples from the feeder belt in a single continuous motion of the wedge.
