摘要:
The present invention relates to a fabric of ultra fine yarn with excellent wash fastness and light fastness. More specifically, the fabric of ultra fine yarn of the present invention, which comprises ultra fine yarn with mono-filament denier of 0.001null0.3 denier and a thick denier yarn with mono-filament denier of 0.5null5 denier, is characterized in that: the ultra line yarn includes a dope dyed component selected from the group consisting of carbon black, pigments and dyestuffs, and the fabric has a wash fastness of more than level 3 and a light fastness of more than level 5. Since the ultra fine yarn constituting the fabric includes a dope dyed component such as carbon black or the like, no additional dyeing process is required and wash fastness and light fastness are excellent.

A space-dyed yarn of monofilament construction and textiles formed therefrom is provided. The space-dyed yarn includes a multiplicity of discrete color segments arranged along the length of the yarn. The color segments are of finite lengths which may be in the range of less than about 2 inches. A process and apparatus for production of the space-dyed yarns are also provided.

A fabric for use in safety apparel comprising a first set of yarns comprising modacrylic fibers, and a second set of yarns comprising anti-static fibers. The fabric meets the Federal Test Method Standard 191A, Method 5931 for electrostatic decay, and the Electrostatic Discharge Association Advisory ADV11.2-1995 voltage potential.
摘要:
A float textile having an improved optical interference function, containing a float texture yarn formed by combining three or more multi-filament yarns each comprising, as a constituent unit, optically interfering mono-filaments which are formed by alternately laminating layers of at least two polymers having different refractive indices and which have flattening ratio of 4 to 15 and by interlacing the multi-filament yarns to form 20 or less interlaces per meter, used as a warp float and/or weft float component, and having a float number of 2 or more. A spun-dyed textile which is formed by combining a large number of optically interfering multi-filament yarns can provide a float textile which can exhibit a bright color development effect and can expand the utility thereof to room interior and car interior fields.

The invention relates to a manufacturing process and product for conductive fabric. The process uses metallic yarn and natural fiber as raw material. Metallic yarn is subject to a braiding step to wrap around staples (like natural wool, rabbit hairs or far IR treated wool or rabbit hairs etc.). In this step, silk (like rubber silk, stainless steel silk, wool etc.) is added to enhance the durability and also form conductive fabric in large size. Besides, color selection is made for the conductive fabric through a dying step for the yarn, which is prior to the formation of conductive fabric. Further, when it is for medical application, the object fabricated by the said conductive fabric can be connected to a current controller for appropriate current supply to attain electrotherapy effect. Since conductive fabric is formed by natural staples, its surface provides a long product life by repeated use directly.

Disclosed is a method of copolymerizing polyethylene glycol (PEG) and branching agent into polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to achieve a polyethylene glycol-modified polyester composition that can be spun into filaments. Fabrics made from fibers formed from the copolyester composition possess wicking, dyeability, and tactility properties that are superior to those of fabrics formed from conventional polyethylene terephthalate fibers of the same yarn and fabric construction. Also disclosed are polyethylene glycol modified copolyester compositions, fibers, yarns, and fabrics.

Disclosed is a method for making a woven or knitted fabric with an excellent water transition ability, involving the steps of fabricating a woven or knitted fabric having a double weave structure by use of a polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) filament for one surface of said fabric and a divided PET/nylon-conjugated fiber for the other surface of said fabric, and subjecting said fabric to a weight loss finishing process. Since the fabric has a void size difference between the surfaces thereof in accordance with the weight loss finishing process, it can externally discharge, at a high velocity, moisture absorbed therein.

A seating structure including fabric support webs is provided. The seating structure includes a webbed support surface formed from a warp knit fabric with weft insertion of an elastomeric yarn. The stretch in the warp is substantially linear over a full range of applied stress from zero pounds to failure. The stretch in the weft has two substantially linear components wherein the first linear component operates over the range of zero to about 10 pounds applied force and the second linear component operates over the range of 10 pounds applied force to failure.
